  • I love my aftican grey shes 4 months and 2 days old now, i was upstairs and my mum was downstair hoovering andy parrot woke me up! She almost spoke we couldnt figure wat she sed but she definatly spoke :D

  • Thumbs up if u thought ur phone was ringing.

  • My Grey Hewie keeps coming over every time I play this video. Just now, he jumped onto the laptop and plopped down on the keyboard with his fat, little body.

  • @AzureClarity That's cute...Tell Hewie hello from Lindsay!

  • i have a babby afircan grey bird and idk when it is going to talk anyone know when?

  • @weldad987 Not all Greys talk. Some start very early, like Lindsay, others a lot later. They are all unique. We had an old CAG that never, ever said a word, but would imitate every sound & whistle wonderfully....speaking is minor...just love them whether they speak or not.

  • @sue345sue ohh okay thanks :)

  • Damn these surround sound headphones, made me jump and grab the phone when I heard yours ring!

Either way, cute African Grey :)

  • @TheDrunkenMantis

    That is funny!!!

  • Hi, just wanted to ask, how do you keep him from pooping on that couch?? Did you train him? If so how?

  • @3alaawiii

Birds will poop anywhere but you can train them not to. Just do a search for potty training your bird as there is lots of information out there.

I watch their body language. There is a distinct "wiggle" before they do so you can usually avoid a mistake.

You just have to know your bird's body language.

  • but still its a gorges bird.i have one aswell its 16weeks old and it desnt talk (whistles n tries to say its name and hello) its still clumsy but i love it to bits :)

  • no chance the bird was 16 weeks old...baby african g have dark eyes and they turn yellow when they r abt 6-8mnths old...

  • @krzysztofpodlaszuk

I guess not every grey. Lindsay was just a tad over 16 weeks in this video. We had him since weaning so we know his hatchdate..

It might be the lighting too as his eyes are still not extremely light yet.

Thank you for the comments...they are great little birds. Enjoy yours...they grow up fast.

  • @sue345sue From her eyes, her foot (paw ), and also from her voice i can say she is at least 6 months old. if you have bought it from a pet store shop, sometimes they sell the birds at wrong age. E.g. it says they are 12 weeks old but truely they are older . i can guarantee you that she is older than 6 months.

  • @behboad

Sorry but as I said in an earlier post, Lindsay was with us since weaning. We bought him from a local breeder & visited him weekly from hatching & during weaning so he definitely is not older in this video.

  • Nice. How old was he in this video?

  • @ujwalmeticulous

Thank you...Lindsay was about 16 weeks in this video.

  • cute !

  • @clochette67

    Thank you!
