Affirmative action is not a job-finding entity. It is a method to insure equality in the hiring practices of businesses.

It could easily be done away with if Congress would ever pass the Equal Rights Amendment that gets brought to the floor and tossed every year, for over 30 years.

Until that Amendment passes, there has to be a body that keep things equal - or tries.

It has nothing to do with finding a job.

I hate it when politically correct people think that when this stuff happens we shouldnt be tough on guys like this, like in the Fort Hood massacre, or the alleged "assault" capture of a most wanted terrorist who got his lip cut by a navy seal who was apprehending him who is now facing charges.
