this is my favorite Cult song. I saw them do a private show while they were touring w/ GnR. Their show obviousley was influenced because they became more energentic and animated. This is about when duff ditched the Gretsch and picked up a Gibson. I personally lost interest in Cult after or during Ceremony. It was just too metal oriented. Not the band I followed.
spring st , midtown music festival , then in some shit hole warehouse in and near the airport ( peachtree / Dekalb ) at intersection of Buford Hwy and . 3 for 3 yea 2002
When they were on tour for Electric, they realy pollished this song. I left every show with this song stuck in my head. What you are seeing shows no justice to those performances. This is Ian with one foot still in SDC. It`s great to see these early videos.
i don`t remember criticism. I do remember the heavy plug for GnR who made it a point to sabbotage or steal the spotlight every show. Every Cult performance in those days were positive. This was them in their prime.

God damn. I wish i could watch this vid without him licking his lips after every verse. Its like that actor from Harry Potter...its creepy!
Apparantly Ian was on drugs in this. I bet his lips were dry from it. Or maybe he is trying to lick some crack residue left on his face.
Apart from that...gotta love The Cult. Ian is smoking.

Its a groove on D, pretty easy to figure out just by playing around with a D5 powerchord.

Amazing song, aye. Post punk meets 80s arena rock. 'Tis a shame it seems forgotten in these ages.
