I'm Canadian but even I AVOID Tim Hortons here.

20 years ago Tims offered quality food and coffee. NOW, they use the CHEAPEST coffee bean scraps and their donuts and food is poor quality and overpriced, just like their coffee.

When I get the urge for a coffee, I go to Timothy's or McDonalds (great REAL coffee). Starbucks? Nahhhhhh.....

Tim Hortons = cheap watered down coffee-flavored HOT WATER that is overpriced......REMEMBER THAT!

No the sub-standard mixed and diluted floor scrapings that Tim Horton's coffee is made of.

2 It's like half price of Starbucks

3 It's always mixed the same, unlike Starbucks you have to mix your own

last but not least quick pay card, you load however much you want and you just swipe it and go and I almost forgot the Drive thru is always busy, if don't like working it's a good way to kill some time

Tim Horton will destroy the competition. You get good coffee, you get good donuts or doughnuts (for us Canadians) and also you get a selection of small meals such as soups and sandwiches. No other donut chain has that much variety and therefore they will do well in NYC as well as the north east location. As for the south USA, you got alot of fat Americans who like Krispy kreme and dunkin donuts so they won't change like the metric system.
