  • naaaawwwwwwwwwww

  • Your dog is what a Rottweiler should be, it just goes to show that all a Rott needs is a good trainer.

  • xaxaxaaaaxaxaxax glasses

  • Amazing, Oz looks SO much alike my dog, he could be his twin! Rottweilers are such amazing dogs it's like there is a human inside them. Oz is beautiful and you're a great owners for taking esponsibility to properly train him. You guys are trully an inspiration.. Only thing after watching this video makes me miss my dog even more.

  • @blowmedrymf Thank you and funny you say that i say the same "like there is a human inside them" ;))

we love our boy so soooo much!! He is a wonderful friend and we would do anything for him as he gives us so much love, joy and laughs :)

  • very beuatiful i have four months female rottie.nice job

  • choppergirljune you look hot, i think you should show ur self more...sexy voice too...muah ;)

  • I just brought home a 11 month old Rot that some people just couldn't handle because they had too many animals. He seems to be a really good dog except that when my buddy brought his pitbull over Hemi(that is his name) went nuts. I am a big boy and he pulled me down. My friends Pitbull did not do anything except stand there and wag his tail. Do you have any suggestions what I can do to help with this behavior? Should I be worried? He is a great dog with humans.

  • @DYKENSFAMThe dog has not been socialized properly..I suggest getting him into a class w/ other dogs... Never reward bad behavior by that i mean i see owners ALL the time petting their dog & saying its okay when their dog goes off on another. The owner thinks they are calming the dog down but instead they are reinforcing bad behavior by rewarding them w/ its OK to be a jerk. Also were they both males? Intact? Have you seen him w/ any other dogs?Check my blog & look at my socialization list.

  • he is beautiful, always wanted rottweiler and now i have 3 months old girl Nessa, i hope i'll manage to teach her to be good dog like yours :) thank you for sharing such a nice video.

  • I wish people who wanted any dog, regardless of breed were made to watch this video of how to raise a well behaved dog. I have met rotts that petrified me and ones that I knew if I needed protection I would get it just by being near them. They are beautiful animals and if trained and raised correctly they are wonderful pets.

  • Very good job with the video and with raising your Rot...!! Whats the songs name?

  • @aristidispas thank you :) Artist: Black Swan Lane

  • @choppergirlJune and the songs name?

  • @aristidispas love i think?

  • what a beautiful video, i love it

  • Got to say. This is a rotten video. No attacks. Just love. mmmm it sucks. All about the training and love given

  • Wow! What a beautiful intelligent rotti oz is! I just got my girl J-Jay 2 days ago and have been trick training her.. She's only 6 weeks old and already knows "come" and "sit" with the 2 days I've had her. We're currently working on drop :) Such a bright breed XD Is there any advice you can give me?

  • Awww just look at how well he behaves with those little dogs! That is truly inspiring :)

  • What a beautiful, gentle giant sweetheart. You've done a great job raising your wonderful dog. : ) I used to be afraid of the "scary" breeds, like pitbulls and Rotts and Pinschers, but now I just think of them as any other dog, so long as they've been raised right. : )

I've got a Siberian Husky Mutt myself. She's the puppy of our late Husky, and just the sweetest, most loving and energetic dog. Not terribly well trained but adoring nonetheless. We couldn't live without our Panda Bear. <3

  • @alyssum32 thank you :) Yes you're right.. dogs are a reflection of their owner.. Much love to your Panda Bear :)

  • This is the best Rottweiler video i've seen on Youtube. TY for uploading.

  • @Deesade86 Wow! Thank you very much!!

  • i got my rotty yesterday :) 2 months baby

    i love it

  • i wish my rotty was this well behaved. hes 4 months old and i gotta say... stupid. i love him but he isnt very bright. we work almost constantly on trying to train him, since he was 6 weeks, and so far all he knows is sit and laydown. and pottytraining...FORGET IT. no matter what we try he doesnt comprehend it.

he thinks he is a cat, no lie... he comes to kitty kitty and goes to the bathroom in the cat litter!! he does well outside but is VERY bad inside. any tips pleaseeee?

    .

  • Miss My Rotty' "Big Worm" =[ Was Excellant in everyway!! he was a fireman rescure dog'' i was 15yrs when i had to put him down due to bone cancer'' n i cried while i held him down when they gave him his shot..

  • wow never had a rottweiler but what a beautiful dog! I don't personally think any dog would attack unless provoked, any dog can be agressive if brought up wrong, however clearly in this video they are playing. Don't think people should judge an animal purely on the breed. GOURGEOUS ANIMALS!

  • Both of my uncles had Rottweilers all my life. I used to play with them (fully grown ones) in the sandbox and with tonka trucks when I was 3. On holiday the older one would come down to the beach and make sure each on of us kids was accounted for before retreating back to the house every 1/2 hr. Such a loyal and loving breed.

When I have a big enough place I get my own little bear.

  • Lovely dog so smart . Hope him a great live :)

I do have a rotti puppy named Ace. i'll try to improve his skill by training him on early age. check him out

  • i love your videos! check out mine when u have the chance. i got my rottie at 6 weeks and his 8 weeks now. any good dog food u recommend? and whats that homemade dog food u make? rice, carrots, black beans?

  • @BARBERJEFF Thank you :) I checked out your rottie pups!! beautiful and good job!! keep it up!!

  • lovley dog i have a 4 year old rottweiler got him when he was a year and a half neglected, locked up in a house for two weeks with no food or water amazing dog wouldnt change him for the world also had an alsatian got her when she was 6 week rescue aswell sadly died early this year grand old age of 14 :(

  • MY rott hector is nearly over a year now and hes the sweetest, he just loves everything. Im not sure Oz does it by hector LOVES water..

  • Should I get another dog first to practise, kinda?

  • @nikiosko Definitely!! They are great dogs for the right people.

  • I am reading so much about pitbulls and rottweilers who killed people and I dont really know how to see if a rottweiler is well trained and will be good to children... how do you train him to be kind to kids? (note: I dont have a rottweiler, but I love dogs and I would like to learn to comprehend their problems and to learn more about them.)

  • Rottweilers are amazing dogs ! I had two Rotties when I was living in Europe, they were part of our family! That video reminds me so much my Jack and Django... They were so impressive both of them but boy, they were so brave, loyal and filled up with kindness! Best dog, ever !

  • i love mine!!! they are bad though and so spoiled!!! its all my fault...oh well..they're still pretty!

  • I miss my buddy.

I never had a human who was a better friend than him.

    RIP Thunder May 98/June 2010

  • @wvufanngarner I am so sorry... I understand your words exactly... They are your best friend and your family!! It is beyond heartbreaking.. hang on to all your wonderful memories, it will keep him alive in your heart and soul.

RIP to your sweet Thunder!! I

  • @choppergirlJune Thank you :.-)

  • My rottie use to take treats out of my mouth with out even touching me lol it was the sweetest thing

  • @Adidasgirl4u22 love it!! oz does the same.. so gentle.

  • he's funny lol

  • your sexy

  • I have a 2 yr old Rott who is very similar to Oz on video; is gentle when it comes to eating, loves dogparks, good tricks and also knows diff. animals since my Mom lives on a farm..my question to you (if you've ever encountered this problem with Oz) is my dog gets mean on leash. I don't know why, but when it comes to putting that leash on, he is WAY to protective (he'll charge people) ..Especially anything that moves; bikes, skateboards, strollers..please help if you have a solution! :) thanks

  • genial ... es precioso!!! wooderfool

  • my rottie is only 7 weeks old and i want to start trianing her but i need some tips about when to start training her and some tips on how

  • Damn, your HOT

  • i want my rottweiler doing that lol

  • GREAT DOG

  • bellissimo!!! complimenti!!

  • Hey beautiful dog and awesome video. Was wondering if you've ever had him growl at certain people as a puppy. I have a 3.6 month old rottie boy I got about 5 days ago. Hes bonded to me and my girlfriend and hes smart and healthy. He comes from really good blood lines. He growled at the vet (not my reg vet) after some shots the vet was pulling on his back skin and he growled a couple times. Just wondering if youve ever had that with your rottie.

  • really nice video, got really inspired by it and brought home a rotty 1 month ago.

i just wanted to know which dog food is the best for rotties. mine is almost 3 months old now. Plz keep up the good work..........

    thanks

  • really nice video, got really inspired by it and brought home a rotty 1 month ago.

i just wanted to know which dog food is the best for rotties. mine is almost 3 months old now. Plz keep up the good work..........

  • @ashish0901 thank you.

I feed my boy a holistic gulten free diet.. for dry food FROMM and raw Stella and Chewys... I also add fresh veggies, fruit, meat, and fish to his diet. I did go to a nutritionist for my rottie to make sure he had a well rounded healthy diet :)

  • @ashish0901 Try Orijen , my 14 yr old male is on six fish and my pup is on Puppy large breed. I ad a bit of fiber over the top of both my boys food. My senior has food allegories and IBS and the fiber makes a huge difference. As puppy food has more protein it makes for a gassy pup! The fiber really cuts down the gas and loose stools. It's not cheap but they offer great products! Congrats on your new family member.

  • @chromeplease I tried a couple bags of Orijen. Good food! But did not work for Oz...

  • I'm in Miami...were would you go to adopt? or even purchase one?

  • @Reyes05 we lost our rott a year ago because of old age and cancer. we decided to adopt and found a 4 yr old purebred rott on craigslist a few months ago and we just love him! the original owners lost their jobs and then their home and couldn't take care of him anymore. good luck finding one. it's really worth it!

  • I LOVE this video! It reminds me so much of my rottie! He's definitely the smartest and sweetest of our three dogs (the other being a pit bull mix and German shepherd mix) and he loves being around the horses too! Thank you for showing their good side!

  • what training method did u use????

  • @islandsnowgirl Positive reinforcement training and Classical or "Pavlovian" Conditioning :)

  • @choppergirlJune it worked wonders.......gr8 job! i'm getting a bitch 2mrw, i've been watchin dis vid all week anticipating lol ur vid is inspiring not just to rotties but to all dog lovers

  • @islandsnowgirl Thank you and keep me updated on your pup :) Have you seen my blog?

  • @choppergirlJune no but u can hook me up

  • @islandsnowgirl :) here ya go oztherottweiler.blogspot.com

  • nice dog i have a rott 2

  • i love your video, it's so sweet. i had a rottweiler pup when i was pregnant with my first son. but he died of some cancer at only 8 months old when my son was born. he was my best company during my pregnancy, (even though i heard it's bad to be too close to dogs during pregnancy). it's been three years now and i still miss him, so bad sometimes i cry. :-) i just wanna know how often do you bathe a rottweiler pup/adult? thanks, love!

  • @siakarley that is heartbreaking...... i am so sorry :'(

    and

in regards to bathing.. not very often it is not good for their coat... I would say every 3-4 months.. He always smell good and if he doesn't bath time :)

I always rinse him when he swims in the ocean too.

  • Still, Love,.... and see the Vision.! Respect!!!

  • @myrottieboys Thanks you very much :)))

  • why dont rottis got no tail? wondering, never got a real answer.

  • @julieeke its usually a showdog/breeder standard. thats how the AKC wants them based on history, most working dogs dont have a tail or ears because of the risk of them losing it out in the field, which is quite painful. their logic being "its better to remove it now ina sanitary place than in the field where dirt and flies and infection can set in"

today its really not "needed" unless the dog is a working dog.

  • I have a 9 week old Rottweiller called Lucifer and i bought him for Guarding my business property. I hope he is as obedient as yours but not so sociable as yours. Im gna walk him only at nights and not let him interact with any other people but me. And by the way he is my second rottweiller my first one lived till15 and then died a natural death so im not a irresponsible owner. I also own a Pitbull butch. Cant wait till lucifer gets viscious

  • @ibbystcsan00

    Rotties are protective naturally

U give rotties and pitts a bad name!!!

Find your pup a good home or learn more about dogs in general.

Consider what happens if your dogs get out accidentally

This becomes a problem for all reputable dog owners

No wonder our breeds are getting banned!

  • This is the sweetest video-your Oz is a perfect example of what a Rottie can be to the world and his family----precious and invaluable. I have had three of these wonderful babies and miss them every day. I hope your Oz is with you for a long, long time! He is just beautiful.

  • @Happyfangz thank you sooo much :)) they are the best dogs in the world!!

  • Loyal, loving, friendly, gentle, intelligent - a fantastic breed that has been sullied by so many dangerous and irresponsible owners.

You are a responsible, intelligent, and loving dog owner. Kudos!

  • Awesome...F*#K bsl in their ass... I've got an 80pnd pitbull that, with steak in his bowl, i can put my face in his bowl and at best i get hit with a tongue. All the breeds this stupid legislation affects don't deserve anything other than a good home with good people.

  • your dog makes me soo happy!

you must be very proud :)

  • @lotustp me toooo! love him so much!! Thank you.

  • Fin vovve får man pippa matte :-)

  • my parents have had a sheltie but when i get my own place i am considering a rottweiler. family friends of ours have a couple so im familiar with the breed however i am tryin to get as much information as possible. any advice?

  • SWEET ;-)

  • Great video, Great Rott, Just got mine... 10 weeks old, I can only hope he shows as well as your dog.. Nice job

  • once again i must say, amazing dog, great video, i love to watch Oz´s videos, my rott puppy will be born in about 2 or 3 weeks, wish me luck choppergirlJune =)

  • BSL only affects the poor PITS here in canada : (, allthough they also want to ban presa canario, dogo argentino and rott in some communities....

  • @Taud TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE :((((( Banning doesn't solve anything... It is for the ignorant and to control the law abiding citizens!! It rids us of our rights to owning our loving dogs.... it enrages me... thank you for your post.

  • very nice puppy..best wishes from germany.

  • GREAT VIDEO, so much love and obedience :) I <3 Oskar

  • @lzrltgirl thank you very much :)) he's my boy!! love him sooooooooooooo much!!

  • thnx for posting such a positive video for this magnificent breed!! gives ppl a chance to see the true rottie, instead of the nonsense the media would like us to believe!! your boy is beautiful btw :) great work :)

  • wow you trained him? can you give me tips on how to train a rottie? thx :D

  • heyyyy what an awsome rottweiler, he looks so much like our rott "boogie" lol. He looks shoooow cute having a bath in the sink, my mum doesnt let us wash boogie in the bath tub so we have to take him to the local self dog wash down the road. Very nice to see these big powerful but tolerant giants in capable hands, regards

  • I am also happy you tube is around to help bring to lite how all breeds have bad dogs, because of bad owners. The most vicious hands down was a Cocker Spaniel, that dog was Satan himself I think. If you don't mind me asking, what breeder is your beautiful boy from? I am looking for another and need to find a good breeder. Thanks again for this vid, it is appreciated from one Rottweiler owner/lover to another, it means a lot. Good day!!!

  • Thanks for this video, thanks to a lot of idiots this misunderstood breed has taking more than it's share of bad publicity. It is great that you made this to actually show people how great this breed is. I have had two of them and will be buying a third really soon. I actually tried convincing myself I was going to get a Burmese Mountain dog as I have liked them since I was a child, BOY WAS I KIDDING MYSELF!!!!! I know I could never own another breed now. Very kind, gentle and VERY, VERY SMART.

  • congrats your rottie is awesome!! I have one myself and they rule! the best breed ever ;)

  • The rotts like FUCK I NEVER NEW DOGS GOT BIGGER THAN ME?!when he sees the horse.

  • hey, i just saw your vid on your rottie. I just got on last week as a birthday gift and hes 7 weeks old. I was wanting to know the best way to teach him to be kinda like yours. like what worked for you! Im leaving for the marines in october and i wanna be able to make him a military show off dog. Meaning teach him tricks to military words so people like him on base when i take him after graduation. Yours seems so adorable and family oriented. Any help would be nice maam

  • Hello there,

I have owned Rotties since 1984 and they really are a super breed. Your dog is wonderul and I think his collar is very smart too!!

  • @carolynallier Thank you and thank you :)) And you will never own another breed right? :))))) they are the BEST!!!

  • WOW!!! Somebody who is posting on here actually gets it when it comes to big dogs. Rotts are awesome and you portray them as a "vicious"(lol) dog that can be so loveable. I want one so bad. The only thing is that I live in an apt and I could never torture a rott into living in such a cramped environment. Good job training Oz. He seems like one of the family which dogs SHOULD be. :)

  • @Brian77TX Thank you very much! and yes he is most def part of the family :)) Always!! best to you!

  • The most wonderful dogs alive in my opinion. I lost mine at 10 years old and he was my best friend. Fearless, loyal, loving and protective of the family. He was, as my wife says, the perfect dog! I will grieve for him till the day I die. If you haven't owned a wonderful Rott you won't understand.

  • Awesome Puppy! I have one, Wilson is is name and I am 100% proud of him. Good blood and Excellent temperment...which may be most impt of all! Congrats, and great work...

  • wow really nice dogg!!! but the dogs is like that, well trained because of her or his master! thats how all dogs should be.... im thinking about to get a male rotty and a female pitbull,,, do you think it will be a good idea? and can u give me some advises, if u dont mind,, thankss

  • you seem like a great owner

and your dogs behavior is wonderful your work payed off

    it really shows!

  • awesome great way to show people how beautiful rottweilers are thank you for the great video.

  • How did you learn how to train this dog? I want a rottie some day so I'm curious.

  • @GHFF77 i grew up with working breed dogs.. most of which were rotties. I also studied animal behavior as a hobby.. as well as rotties are my breed thru and thru:) That is very key!! Don't get a rottie because you think their beautiful dogs or like them.. they are A LOT of work and require an experienced owner.. Oz is the result of training constantly his entire life (since he was 7.5 weeks). A good breeder will not sell a rottie to an inexperienced owner.

  • @choppergirlJune What do you consider an inexperienced owner..?

  • @sc4rzpur3 one that has never owned a large or working breed dog along with a firm understanding of training. They require an experienced handler :)) Great dogs but they need a leader and someone that understands the breed and can train them. :) Thanks for asking.

  • @choppergirlJune Well i own a Jack Russell and a Patterdale terrier (One of the hardest terriers to train as they are pure hunting dogs.)Reckon i can handle a rott?:P im gonna buy one anyway :D.

  • How old is he?

  • @locolatiin he is 6 :)

  • great video, Oz is an AMAZING rotty, i love all of the videos he´s in. Good job.

  • Make wonder why *people* fight these beautiful creatures.. :-/

  • Truly amazing! Your videos actually bring a tear to my eye.... Oz is truly an ambassador to his breed. Thank you for showing the world what a wonderful dog a rottweiler truly is. I sent you an email asking for some input about adopting/acquiring a rottie - I hope to hear back from you.
