Gene Wood always had so much fun behind the scenes of the shows that he announced on - he was 'the Ed McMahon' of game show announcers with his famous laughing!
Allen Ludden gets mentioned alot here, because at the time of this taping, Ludden was still alive at the time, but was too ill to host. I am not sure, but this may have aired just before his death.
Ditto on the R.I.P. for Dick Martin. His laughs were incredibly infectious, especially his high-pitched laugh. He had more than one type of laugh, but the most natural one was the high-pitched. One of the true treats of watching "Laugh-In" bloopers was when Dick would lose it and out would come "that" great laugh.
Because French is a derivative of France, like Spanish is a derivative of Spain, and is too similar to use. You can't use the word or variations of the word
LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL, I want you to give me more of this. If you want, find other funny clips of shows like this. I would've liked this meaning five stars if the password "revolution" hadn't been cut out.
LMAO @6:55.... They were going for HEAD!! LMAO!!!!

Best part: "Dick, hold it" "I've known you all these years and that's the first time you've ever asked me to hold it"
shutterbun 4 years ago 5
I'm still surprised NBC kept that in, knowing how restrictive they were about even phrases such as "oh my God."

Why can't you say "France" for "French"?

Because French is a derivative of France, like Spanish is a derivative of Spain, and is too similar to use. You can't use the word or variations of the word
ccpickre 4 years ago 3
No, you can't because "France" is the root word for "French".
