So ,So beautiful.....This wonderful artist is clearly heavan sent...its just stunningly beautiful ..what a gift she has ..God bless her now and always
Sorry to burst your bubble koifuy123 but have a look at "Colleen Hewit - Dreaming my Dreams of You" it was actually recorded late 70's by this Australian and reached number 2 in November 1979. Must admit Alison does a lovely version of it but definately not hers!
Waylon did it best (my opion) - but, the different versions of the same song are great, the music was a little different each time - Susan Anton was a little up beat - it's just a great song ......I hope a lot of people do the song....
This was a career song for Waylon Jennings. I wore out my copy of it. But anything Alison touches turns to stellar beauty. I HOPE WE'RE TURNING YOUR HEAD ALISON!
I've been a Waylon fan since High School in the late '60s. I loved Waylon's version of this song, but this is truly a beautiful cover. I love Alison's voice here. It's soft and vulnerable and a perfect match for the sadness of the lyrics. Well done.
Memo to the people who put this vdo up this song was recoreded in the early 70 s and was his favorite song but if you knew anything about country music you'd know that and oh by the way this COVER of Waylon's song is not good
I love this... it's different from Martina McBride's version, which has a bit more "edge" to it, but I love them both in different ways. Thanks for posting.
Allison voice is from God himself but Patty Loveless also has a great version of this song.why do women seem to do this song with such grace and beauty? love it!!
This is very good. For yet another version look out Jools Holland and Eno??? it is quite surprising

Alison, you astonish me every time you pose for a photographer and even more so when you open your mouth and praise God.

I like to have a girlfriend with a very beautiful voice like that lady .. singing this song, and rubbing my hair and forehead till I sleep.

Nice but so good as Waylon's or Marianne Faithfull's. Alison's voice is too high for this song.

Garbage, pure garbage. This song was best sung by Waylon, and then by Jamey Johnson.

My fervent wish is that we have many more years of listening to her gorgeous voice. I think her best is yet to come!

Although I love Alisons voice and her version of this song, Waylon Jennings still owns this song, Hands down.
I would have loved to hear them do a duet of this song
