You can feel the magnetic feild somewhat. The hairs on the back of your neck stand up on the higher voltages, sometimes. I notice the odd time after you come down it feels like you have fiberglass down the back of your shirt. You can also feel the zaps when you are teasing it with your hand. Doesn't hurt tho. One neat aspect, once you are bonded onto the higher voltages like 230kv and up you can hear a faint hum, in the hood. Apparently it is the cycles of the voltage. 60hz=60 cyles/second.
Can you feel the voltage or the capacity you get if you get zapped? i know the farady cage protects you an there is no grounding, but do you feel nothing? no hairs went up at your arms?
bloody hell, how did the camera & camera man not get zapped, he was as close to that cable as his workmate. ? maybe a You Tube using linesman could tell me how that is possible.
They are insulated from the ground, that's why they can touch it. At 0:14 the cameraman himself gets the sparks; he's in a safety suit too as you can see.

I'm surprised the camera survived so much electrical stress.
