there are different types of DVI, HDMI and Display Port connector types. Type 1 2 and 3. If yours is type 3, you can use it as a Computer Screen, but 1 and 2 will damage the display.
guys All you have to do change it to 1080P, because your ps3 really set up on 1080i all you have to do is go back to the other tv you was playing it befor change it to 1080p and go back to your HDMI LCD and plug it in make sure the TV is off. and with you finish plug in every thing turn the TV back on every thing should working.
I have the same problem but it dosent do this for only about like 5 channels and it dosent go away by turning the tv on and off do u know how to fix it?

dont use your tv as computer monitor coz itl really mess up the system... use your tv as what is its really intended for.
