I just downloaded this game today onto my Wii console, and when I first started playing it one thing came to mind "Major Strayker." For those of you who've played Major Strayker on the PC then this game is like it's Japanese cousin on the TurboGrafX16. It plays just like it, but better. I didn't even know what game was about when I downloaded it I was just being daring. And I don't regret it.
I have all three for the TG16, well actually my PC Engine, and I still like Final Soldier the best of the three. To me it's the most balanced and the bosses in the game are much more active. Probably not quite as graphically impressive as Soldier Blade, but close enough for me. Are you excited about Blazing Lazers. It's an amazing shooter that's very similar to these three.
Bit of a late reply, but acording to the info in the Wii Shop chanel, Blazing Lazers is sposed to be a part of the Star Soldier sires. Now, I don't know if thats really ture or not, but it looks like it. Might be some kind of side story or spinoff (kind of like Life Force is to Gradius). In any case, I'm sure this will get on the VC in due time as well.

Blazing Lasers? Sounds familiar. The Wii practically introduced me to the PC Engine so a lot of it is new to me.
I'll check it out later. Thanks for informing me of these great games!

Just last week there was some report announcing this game in the VC Shop.
I'm happy.
