1. make something happen to the wall, with some masking and stock images (and color correction) it shouldnt be a hard task

2. either remove the black bars before editing or at least make the effect stop at the edge with masking

it it a good effect but they dont look realistic, Pre made Particles in PE, with AE you can make it just the way you like it thats the thing that gives it the advatage.

You can create your own, and modify the presets of, particles. That's sort of the point of PI.

Also, many professional productions, television shows and commercials have used PI, and you can't even tell effects have been added in some of them.

I think its a nice clip but there is one problem: The original footage has a nice matrix like film look. if you want to improve the illusion do some collor grading on the exported special effects clip. it wont affect the alpha layer as long as you dont play with the contrast and levels too much. keep on going!

It does not suck, the only thing that would make it even better would be if layers were added into the time frame at certain points to replicate proper damaged spots. This is far from sucking, it just needs new layers, proper lighting adjustments and damage areas. Those are my opinions.
