ORGANIZATION TIP: Turn Your Magazine Clippings Into a Look Book!

I also have tons of fashion magazines (also Romantic Homes and Victorian Homes mags). I actually have that pink strappy sandal shown at 6:17. What do you use to cut  the pictures out so neatly? The pictures are like beautiful artwork to me, so I love your idea.

that's a very good idea... did you think of making one for beauty make up looks? That would be really great... with the different looks, collections and swatches.

I love magazines. I clip pages from them before getting rid of the magazine. What a great idea! I have a fitness binder but I never thought to get a fashion look book together. Thanks again.

@dmitrigarcia Yep, I'm the crafty Martha Stewart girl, too. :) LOL! You have me pegged. I'll think about the fashion vid idea, although others have much better fashion channels out there. I'd feel like the pageant girl without a clue. Ha! =D

@GlamourSkittle It's sort of a love/hate process. :o) Loads of work, but the end result is something you'll appreciate for a long time to come. I regularly flip through my books and just love them. This would be a neat idea for makeup looks as well. I'm notorious for tearing out pictures from magazines with makeup looks or products that I'm interested in. Thanks so much for sharing such a great idea. I know what my next project will be!!!!

@4theluvofmakeup Oh, believe me...I have a makeup look book, as well. ;o) I created books for fashion, makeup, fragrance/candles, interior design, gardening, cooking/recipes, crafts and exercise. It was a ton of work, but it's sooooo much better than having a bunch of papers sitting around where you can never find what you're looking for and can't enjoy looking through those things that you love. I really hope you make one...& please share pics/vid if you do..would love to see it!!! :o) ♥

I knew I liked you!!! LOL I too am a magazineaholic, love gardening and have an obsession for interior design. That has left me with...guess what....tons and tons of magazines. @Rangela85 Yay! A kindred spirit! :o) Yes, the magazine hoarding can definitely be an issue. My first step was just going through & pulling the ear mark pages so that I could toss the mags. I was still left with heapings of clippings, so that's when I decided to create the books. It takes some time, but it's a lot of fun to flip through them once they're done.
