I actually switched FROM pampers TO CLOTH DIAPERS because the pampers couldn't hold all that my daughter was doing at night.

I'm saving money, avoiding diaper rash, keeping chemicals like chlorine of my children's bodies, AND keeping lots of trash out of landfills.

For months, my wife screamed at me every time I changed the diaper. I was doing it wrong!!!!

Turned out that, being left-handed, I was fastening the left side first. OMG!!!!

What should have been a pleasant memory for me was ruined.

It also turns out that the greatest reason why dads do so little housework is that they get screamed at for doing it "wrong." These days, I just wait until she's asleep, then I mop the floor. She doesn't scream any more...

That's a moment a dad NEVER forgets.

My son, 19 mos, and I stopped at a roadside stand, and he (who had never said "dada") said something that sounded like "orange" - "rrnge!" I picked one up and said, "Tim! You can say 'orange' [pointing at it] but you can't says dada?? [pointing at me]" And he gave this huge smile and said "DADA!" and pointed at me and started laughing.

I'll never ever forget it.

Especially with the "dad-bashing" out there in our media, this is A GREAT COMMERCIAL!
