i love the whole download the game to your hard drive addition, because if you happened to lose your disk, it'd have already been on the xbox so no need to buy it again

the disc has to be in the tray to play it off the hard drive to verify you own it. The point of installing it to hard drive is to make it load faster. Also, it is quieter because the disc doesn't have to spin.

i have the dashboard and the best thing about it is the fact that there is no more lag when just flicking through the dashboard. The feature to install games now is very good. It eats up your hard drive but it is worth it when playing games such as fable 2 or oblivion the loading times are muh faster and the menu in fable 2 doesnt lag like a cunt when you press start. Overall it is a very impressive update from microsoft.
