  • jeep is like move bitch

  • The Jeep has a bumper there for it wins

  • tsk..tsk...tsk.....tsk American cars always unreliable

  • @specialbrownbeef um there alot more safer than a foreign car and there more expensive than foreign cars becuase there made better!!!!

  • @specialbrownbeef

You sure about that? Ive owned my 2004 Grand Chrke since 07'...I only had to replace a brake master cylinder.

Before that I had 2 BMWs a 99' 323 and afterward and 2001 525. Dont get me wrong they were both well put together performance beauties...but every fcking thing went wrong. From electronics to having to replace the water pumps almost every year. costing too much money. I cant speak for all American cars but my Jeep is has been nearly perfect. Your statement is false.

  • now if the stratus rear ended the jeep there could have been a fire

  • actual bumper ftw

  • a bumper and trunk do not cost 6k

  • @iTouchHelp100 Parts, Labor, Paint and everything else included it sure will, My friend put a toonie size dent in his Civic's front bumper and was quoted $1100 or so, Body shops are a scam and this is why I drive a truck lol

  • @CalcityAirsoft doesnt cost that much in canada... When you buy the part like a bumper, it comes in the same colour as your car. they scan it and get the part in, then putting it on is no hassle at all. my mom got into an accident where someone rear ended her and completely destroyed the bumper. total repair cost was 800 with labor parts and handling. and trucks are complete awesomeness. they just rape cars in the ass xD

  • @iTouchHelp100 Im in Alberta and have worked at 3 dealership's and have never seen oem body parts come pre painted unless that's how the customer has ordered it, When I rebuilt the front end of my grandpa's vehicle all of the parts didn't have as much a primer on them. lol that's why I drive a truck!

  • @CalcityAirsoft its how we ordered it straight from germany. so thats the difference.

  • @CalcityAirsoft sorry not canada in ontario. my mistake :P

  • can u say..

    PWNED!

  • A steel frame does the the trick - at least on my WJ ;-)

  • @diplomaticSK You do realize that these wjs dont have a steele frame right? They are a unibody construction. have been for years

  • @tripovermyego They have a unitized frame/body , and do have frame rails they just happen to be integrated into body as a whole...ever look under one ...it's not exactly a k-car set up , and the wJ has one hell of a stron unibody design Chrysler consulter Porsche when redesinging the new unibody design for the 99 year WJ taking the old ZJ models place , and it's still made of steel .

  • @yerwrng But its still a unibody set up. Yes I have looked under one. I used to own one. Im not saying that they arent strong, I was just saying that they are still a unibodied vehicle

  • @tripovermyego

It's called uniframe on a an XJ ,ZJ ,WJ ...ect b/c unlike a k-car unibody it does have a frame raile designed into it , and it's still made of steel . ..Just as long as you realize the difference between the two designs .

  • @tripovermyego Yes, I am aware of that. I was however refferring to a steel guard I have on my front bumper.

  • @diplomaticSK Those gaurds really dont protect as much as what people think they do. With these WJs, you have to mount them to the point on the unibody where the bumper mounts. Which still isnt that strong. Hit a car or a tree or a cow or something and there it goes.

  • last year I accidently hit a friends Volkswagen T5 with my G class. The road was icy and even though i was going around 5 mph, the damage was around 4200 Euros, so at that time sth around 6500 $. Only on the VW. My front bumper was a little damaged, but nothing compared to the bus

  • The Stratus is as soft as butter

  • 6 thousand dollars!!! ill wipe my ass with 6 thousand dollars all the nigga needs is a bumber and trunk lid...from dodge! thats a grand at the most

  • You idiots, the Jeep went over the bumper because it rides higher! Has nothing to do with strength, it is ride height!

  • @classicautofan1

Wrong, any outside bumper that is painted is weak/thin because of the material needed to match the body paint. Vehicles like Jeeps with the laredo trim for example on the older WJ and ZJ's have a stronger and more flexable bumper cover protecting itself from any costly damage like you saw on the smaller car..

I have experience this twice on my 4.0 ZJ laredo. Twice i have had people hit me in the front and rear and i sufferd only scuff marks, and they had major dmg.

  • @1ownjoo2 I dont know if that is true or not, but I do know that the painted part you are talking about is actually a bumper cover. The actual bumper is under that. lol. 90% of cars come with that thing these days

  • @tripovermyego

Well i know its true, because i own a Jeep with the plain cover cladding, and the painted cladding.. The painted covers are extremely weak and non flexable, they crack and break easy. Happend to our mitsubishi with them and the Jeep with them. Our Jeep with the non painted covers tho, has been side swiped by concrete poles, and rear ended by other vehicles and it didnt even leave a mark.

The material is a lot stronger

  • OllllllllO jeep sucks ass go toyota

  • @nicknack575 yeah it's a lot better than some piece of shit jeep

  • @mexico12ism well i guess your right, these days cars are just plastic and wheels.

  • @nicknack575 yeah well not all most trucks have metal too

  • My brother had a 1999 Blazer, and he accidentally rammed into my grandmother's 2005 Lacrosse. The rear bumper was a bit crooked, but the door on the Lacrosse had to be replaced.

  • I had a stratus and it was bumped in the back just like this model, my car had insurance and it didn´t cost that much. Also my car wasn´t as damaged as this stratus. Maybe because mine was 2000. But if newer it should be safer.

  • oh WOW 6.2k can buy you another used stratus

  • @SonySasuke more like 2 more used stratus lol

  • @oddfigure Probably a new one if they still made them.

  • 0IIIIIII0

  • stratus= destroyed

    jeep= perfect.

jeeps= absolute pownage. jeeps for life!!!!

  • $7000 bucks lol just spend $6000 on a civic.

  • haha the jeep just pushed its ass away

  • if the grand cherokees obviously plastic bumper can destroy a stratus' then thats saying something about quality

  • damn im trading mine in!

  • wow this exact same thing happened to me a few months ago...I have a stratus and a jeep rear ended me while at a stop light going about 20mph. there was 3700 damage but it looked exactly like the damage on this video. and the jeep had not a dent on it at all!

  • "the bumper of the jeep has completely gone over the bumper of the stratus" the jeep straddled the stratus!!!!!

  • jeep is like undamaged, Jeep for life 0lllll0

  • @lucasfan18 yeah...my jeep did the same to a tiny car i took my foot off the break at a stop light...yeah...oh and a deer..but that fucked it up lol

  • thats not 6 grand, cant be. i rear ended a mustang at 15mph in my car and my car car was undrivable. it cost $4250

  • yea and i hit a guy at 31 mph not paying attension and it only cost $5326.62 for a cherokee sport.

  • The $6,129 was a combined crash total. Add up all the damage to both cars and that's how the 6 came to be.

  • Yeah but Dodge, Chrysler and Jeeps are more expencive to repare

  • @gilbertprls if you go to a stealership, try after market parts jeeps have a backing by companys unlike anyother. but heck i dont mind paying a little bit more for factory parts when my xj hit 190xxx on original cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. no service besides oil changes were ever done on this jeep and it still ran like a raped ape.
