  • I did something like this too. How are they doing now? What was the extra one?

  • @Thagirion9 The ones I did not give away to friends are doing really well. We only lost one of them over the years. The rest are in the back yard as I type digging around like chickens do:)

  • hey what happened to the rest of the 26?

  • How old they are now:-)

  • Thanks for your videos! I see how excited you were for them. I plan on FINALLY doing chickens this spring. Im going to go check out your other videos!

  • @wolfsnaps888 You are welcome I hope you have a great experience with your chick order as well!

  • chickens cant fly right?

  • @brandonashplant They can fly short distances so if you want to keep them grounded you clip their wing feathers.

  • @noshoes dude I said this 2 months ago? I think I know by now!

  • @brandonashplant Sorry about that I will just completely ignore you next time.

  • @noshoes ok, but there will be no next time

  • @noshoes Another satisfied customer :)

  • oh and if you still have your hens one morning when you go collect the eggs could you please do a video

  • well next year i know who to order them from thankfully this hatchery is going to send me ten free hen chicks for my losses

  • i dont really know but i didnt get mine from mcmurray and i got them yesterday and already five are unhealthy and problebly wont make it so i wish i wouldve got them from him

  • @dave1212ish Sorry to hear of your troubles. I was really amazed with my McMurray order I expected to loose some but all 25 made it even the splayed leg. Do ever count them out.

  • if you can can you tell me how long 15-20 baby chicks can be kept in a 5ish by 5ish foot cage and how long do you keep them inside before putting them outside

  • @MrJangofett2134 I had them in about a 3' by 2' cardboard box in the house for about a month in the house before I built the cage you see in this video. After a while I let them in a chicken run during the day until they were large enough to have a chance against a hawk.

  • @noshoes thankks you

  • well thats great

  • they're huge and look at them fly is crip one of them

  • @dave1212ish Yes she is doing very well :)

  • so are your hens doing well at laying i may be getting some of these breeds to add to my flock do you recommend them?

  • @dave1212ish All three are good but I must say the black stars lay the biggest brown eggs and are the friendlier at least in my experience.

  • @noshoes thanks i think i will get some from mcmurray

  • they did get big
