  • Each transmitter is unique, for mine it was just a setting for use with a combat wing, and a few adjustments to the trim. Its in the manual that comes with the transmitter sometimes under fixed wing use.

  • the spectrums are nice systems

  • where did you get the receiver and the Transmitter (controller)????? ive been looking for one all over the internet

  • Ebay or an online hobby shop.

  • Ok, thanks for the info

  • What himax brushless motor did you use?

  • The motor I used was a Himax Brushless Outrunner HC28 series, but to be honest the motor is a bit sensitive and underpowered for competition use. I just used it cause thats what I had.

  • @rctennisbum what speed controller did you use?

  • Was a Castle Creations Phoenix 25 I think, I've gone through a few of those. Tried an upgrade to a 45, but it still gets warm.

  • @rctennisbum thanks, im saving up to make one

  • @rctennisbum ok, thanks

  • Does the brushless motor need a gear box?

  • nopp

  • @TooSlowGamer

No, since there is no need to reduce the speed of the motor for the weight of the robots, you simply need to just put the shell on directly.

  • where did my last comment go?

  • Thanks for the help rctennisbum I found out I can't use the floppy disk any way. I just have one more question can I just use a wooden base because I have one

  • For a prototyping medium, wood is perfect, but if you are planning on doing any hard on testing or even battle, I would suggest using a metal frame. Mainly for structural purposes.

  • I think it's a good guide I am just wondering how to find that part your holding at 0:16 I have on old hardrive I just need to know how to find that part.

  • The computer that I got the mount from was really old, and all of the parts were a lot bigger back then. Something that may be more comperable in size is a floppy disk drive, or cd drive mount. Hope this helps.

  • how did you mix the servos????

I have the chassis and the 360 servos, but how can I hook up the servos to steer? all I can do is go forward and reverse...

  • exactally. Go forward with one, and it will turn.

  • How did you mount three motors to a reciever?

  • what voltage does the servos run off of, min.-max.

  • how do u mix

  • looks heavy for an ant.

  • Beetle I think.

  • could be an American ant

  • Comment removed

  • UK ants (or fairyweights) weigh up to 150g, American ants weigh up to a pound.

  • is this a lethal size for a ant weight battle

  • Fot a UK ant, they have to fit within a 4 inch (10cm) cube, I'm not sure weither US ants have a size limit.

  • wow what is the cheapist remote and servo driver thing i can get
