plz i need help can you do a tut on how to change the crystals on your control . i bought a control in a yard sale it turns on but doesnt have a crystal and i dont know hot to change it its not the expensive controls so the crystal has to be put in by opening it plz help i dont know were to put it in or how
Each transmitter is unique, for mine it was just a setting for use with a combat wing, and a few adjustments to the trim. Its in the manual that comes with the transmitter sometimes under fixed wing use.
The motor I used was a Himax Brushless Outrunner HC28 series, but to be honest the motor is a bit sensitive and underpowered for competition use. I just used it cause thats what I had.
Thanks for the help rctennisbum I found out I can't use the floppy disk any way. I just have one more question can I just use a wooden base because I have one
For a prototyping medium, wood is perfect, but if you are planning on doing any hard on testing or even battle, I would suggest using a metal frame. Mainly for structural purposes.
I think it's a good guide I am just wondering how to find that part your holding at 0:16 I have on old hardrive I just need to know how to find that part.
The computer that I got the mount from was really old, and all of the parts were a lot bigger back then. Something that may be more comperable in size is a floppy disk drive, or cd drive mount. Hope this helps.
can i buy it from you or can you make me one?

Was a Castle Creations Phoenix 25 I think, I've gone through a few of those. Tried an upgrade to a 45, but it still gets warm.

Does the brushless motor need a gear box?

nopp

@TooSlowGamer
No, since there is no need to reduce the speed of the motor for the weight of the robots, you simply need to just put the shell on directly.

UK ants (or fairyweights) weigh up to 150g, American ants weigh up to a pound.
uppercutter450 1 year ago
is this a lethal size for a ant weight battle
nooloo3000 1 year ago
Fot a UK ant, they have to fit within a 4 inch (10cm) cube, I'm not sure weither US ants have a size limit.

wow what is the cheapist remote and servo driver thing i can get
