this cam has been out for almost a year now. Do they update model specs every year or so? or will the rebel t2i will be out for a few more months (or year)?

I keep reading / hearing awsome reviews for this dslr.

I am thinking about purchasing this camera for my birthday. I heard it's a fabulous camera and it's only $500 and works professionly (From Walmart xD) Anyways I loved this video!

@NickiandBecky : Thank-You! Yes, we do think that the T2i would be a nice DSLR to start with. Also, the Canon Rebel XS is really great for people who have never really used DSLRs before. We used to use the XS, and it's a really great camera, too! :)
