  • JUPITER.. the best album ever!!!

  • Why is this in the Suicide Silence playlist? Wtf.

  • @assassin1478523 ik i was alll happy now i have to listen to this?!?!?!?!?!?!?1

  • Check out HateFace-Vlad

  • Cave in Fuqing Rules.Planets of Old is badass.

  • i like cave-in. volle entspannung.

  • Haha, James Hetfield vocal at 3:36!

  • All Cave In is sweet in my opinion

  • "the reality check is in the mail' Wow.

  • am i right thinking their first couple of albums sound like math metal? Quite a change with later stuff. moved onto a more space rock vibe. Both is cool though. Just strange that they sound 100 percent different. You gotta do what your feeling though, and these guys seem happy with both. More power to them.

  • This song is pure heroin

  • love this band.

  • cave in is brilliant in both of their genre phases, especially until your heart stops and jupiter. don't limit yourself to one genre, you'll dull your brain. not many bands do well in more than one genre, some other greats i know are candiria and codeseven

  • @th3m4rzv0lt4 I so agree, Damn i went and got "Tides Of Tomorrow" back in 2003 put it in my CD player and started driving to what I thought was going to be the usually heavy grinding sound I was used to on the earlier Cave-in releases, But this CD floored me! In-fact it started to change my out look on music and advancing my taste towards lighter but equally skilled genre's. Oh BTW Candirai all the way up to 300 percent density, phenomenal!!

  • cave in is a fuckin brilliant band both in their metal phase and space rock. until your heart stops and jupiter are all star albums. don't limit yourself to one genre, you'll dull your brain. not many bands make such a significant change, a few others i know are candiria and codeseven, both great

  • god yes!

  • which barfly did they perform at? i miss cave in. what have they been up to?!

  • The instrumentals are quite good, but the vox just don't do it for me. He's not bad sounding, just a bit generic, imo.

  • @DaveyJones1111 how does he suppose to sing it??

  • It's all downhill after Until Your Heart Stops. What is this shit.

  • @moochu2

They took a different direction than you wanted them to, big deal. It may not be your cup of tea, but it is most certainly not shit. Oh no! A band you like progressed and made an album different from their previous ones! The nerve!

  • @moochu2 So you're a genre-specific type listener, or what? Don't limit yourself.

  • @o08140o

I like other genre's, but Cave In was one of my favorite metalcore bands, hence the hate for their turnaround into this garbage.

  • @moochu2

This is way better then their original stuff.

  • @moochu2 u frankly have no idea what you are saying

  • epic sounding song

  • It almost makes me feel high.

  • can anyone tell me which albums inflatable dreams from i'm havin trouble tryin to buy it in the UK on like a CD

  • @UlquiorraBTBAM To my knowledge, that one was recorded around Creative Eclipses or the pre-producion era of Jupiter, but wasn't officially released (apart from the live version on the DVD of last year's Great Scott show). The mp3 floats around, but if you can't find it PM me and I'll hook you up.

  • I had to do some research to make sure that there werent two bands called cave in. Man they have some diverse sound..from metal to this!!

  • Their versatility is part of what makes them so great.

  • yeah at some point steven said he just couldn't think of any more metal riffs. Whateverthefuck that means, i love this band tho...space rock ftw

  • @gpunk76 Yeah, too bad there arent any good "space rock" bands now. I really wish there were another like Hum, If youve heard of them.

  • this song is epic!

used to love this band all those years ago, 2003 wasnt it?

  • CAVE IN IS A HARDCORE BAND AGAIN!

  • wow. just found these guys b/c im a big fan of the foo fighters. These guys are pretty awesome. Instrumentally great and a awesome rock sound

  • I heard about this song for about 7 years ago. So its not from last year

  • I try to find the live clip from the quart festival. anyone knows about anything? That was the first time i heard about them and it was amazing!!

  • i just found out about this band and i love them!

  • Same here - they aren't anything like my normal taste in music, I'm a death metal / black metal person but these guys just fucking ROCK!

  • the best, always have been always will be

  • Chorus is quoted in Audrey Horne's "Last Call".

  • this is so god damn good.its unreal

  • You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.

  • Gran banda!

  • god I miss pre antenna cave in, I get the chills everytime I hear this song

  • This song came out the past year, what the hell are you talking about.

  • this statement is false

  • @AMeN420 this song was on tides of tomorrow which came out in 2002, a year before antenna....

  • lol antenna came out in 2003

  • I very strongly agree with strangefruit

  • i m stucked with this song,at the begging i was like "wtf is this voice"..but art always surprize us

  • odd hearing a guy with a nice, natural voice for a change as opposed to someone who's just had a laryngectomy

beautiful music as well. alomst like a pacier Labradford, melody-wise. another candidate for my favourite new band along with Helms Alee.

    fucking A

  • Whats happening with Cave In now? The loudest band ive ever seen.... My ears buzzed for five days after the wedgewood rooms gig. The most underrated band of their time i'd say, nothing compares to the Jupiter era by anyone!

  • how come SONYBMG poster has this song triple in triple timing or some ridiculous speed.

  • Could someone send me this song? I can't find it anywhere

  • Go to any decent record and pickup Cave In's "Tides of Tomorrow" EP. It's a great record.

  • One of my favorite bands, ever.

  • the reality check is in the mail. how fucking good is that? cave in still rules, i don't care what anybody says.

  • i used to love that lyric when I was 16; at 23, not so much. it's too forced and metaphorically unpleasing.

this song marks the end of the 'good' cave-in era.

  • that's what is so appealing about it, though. it's absolutely ridiculous but you have to appreciate the cheese, haha.

  • Hey, what does this lyric really mean? I can't see any metaphor there... well I suppose it's because I'm from spain and I can't really understand the meaning the phrase has, even understanding what does the phrase says. Did I explained myself? haha.

    Thanks.

  • A common phrase is "check is in the mail," which usually means something isn't likely to happen (lots of people say that "the check is in the mail" to bill collectors in an effort to get them off their backs). So, it's really just a play on that phrase.

  • Thanks mate =)

  • I'm sorry, I have to disagree with this definition. To say something is 'In the mail' means that it is going to arrive something soon in the future. So by saying 'The reality check is in the mail' means that whoever he is singing the song to is going to get a reality check. The expression 'The check is in the mail' means that in the future something, one is about to recive money, usually a substantial amount.

  • Explain, "I could have sworn I had paid you off", then.

  • Hehe probably thought that he had made them see the truth..'I thought we'd made amens'? It's all speculation though

  • Nope. Perfect Pitch Black rocked and then some.

  • Nice one. They are really good. And the lyrics very smart.

  • i know you came in the room, cuz everythings out of tune .fuckin love it, this is great ...even speeded up

  • lol, ah yes...

  • anyway cool vid like these guys

  • I remember i watcched them first time on a place in noway called Quart festivalen. And they played this song and i just loved it!

  • I would kill to see these guys live! It would be such an amazing show.

  • As if Tides Of Tomorrow is nearly 5 years old already :S

  • haha either way its fucking cool!

  • ahhhh it's actually a "video clip" moron

  • i like it, great editing job!

  • cool vid, too bad its not the actual audio track, sounds like you copied the song off the cd and layed it over the video, unless cave-in is the most kickass live band ever

  • I remember this video being on kerrang years ago. It was released like this. Normal track over live video
