If you enjoyed this version of 'You Taught My Heart To Sing checkout what Jackie does with the tune with McCoy Tyner on their album: 'It's About Time' a Bluenote recording from '85. First time I heard he and McCoy playing this cut I was forced to replay it over and again. The tune has a more melodic flavor than reflected here, and it didn't hurt the cast on the album was rounded out with Ron Carter, Jon Faddis, and Al Foster. Worth a listen!
