scanning in tsne is pointless anymore, unless you're sneaking. The stealth team almost never links anymore, and since its easy to see the defending scanning isn't as useful as some other skills for the sneaking team.

#1 trap and stun someone

#2. Scan them

#3. Plant C4 on them

#4. Hide and wait for the teammate to wake them up

#5. BOOM! DOUBLE KILL + SCAN + COMBO POINT!

I find it more useful on the seek team. If youre lucky enough to grab one of the sneaking team members then it reveals the sop-linked players positions. I dont have ex, though.

With EX is the time that the sop is hacked unlimted?

something extra that you didnt include was that scanner ex ignores sop stealth so even if you have sop lvl 3 on it will show you for 90 seconds
