These two fighters are phenomenal icons. I am Nobody. But i`ve watch this match on Nov 12 and I have to say something. Marquez was ROBBED. He is the real champion. They went head to head when they were both at their best. Marquez is now past his best while Pacquiao still holds on.

The decision could have gone either way, and people can argue about it for years to come, but both fought fair and square. Whatever the judges felt about the fight is theirs, I'm just happy with what Marquez and Pacquiao have brought to the boxing community.

If the bout goes the distance and is rather close, then they will give the victory to Marquez...they cannot give thrice to MP and then they will organize a 4th bout and get a lot of business around it. Pacquiao demanded to have on the contract the possibility of a 4th if he looses. That shows he is not 100% sure to win. Did he has the same on the contract of his previous fights?

@chinamonk I laugh at that. Marquez was never a welterweight or a jr welterweight. He is 37 and has shown he is slightly past it. They would have fought right after the second fight or at least in 2008/2009.
They went head to head when they were both at their best. Marquez is now past his best while Pacquiao still holds on.

Pacquiao is at a good weight. No dehydration. He is still young and has tons of experience.
Marquez is above his best weight. He is old. No dehydration. Has the experience.
They are basically equall prime to prime but Marquez is past his peak.

There is little doubt in my mind that Pacquiao will beat Marquez.
This is still a bs fight because even though Manny is at his absolute best, Marquez is not.
