This was a very helpful video and unexpected. Amy explains the technique in an easy to understand manner. My suggestion would be to wear something other than a t-shirt -- Amy has a lovely oval face and good skin, so wearing something with a better neckline would be flattering.
Just because she got those products for free doesn't mean she can't have an honest review. Plus, you can see how nice the products are for yourself by watching this video. If she didn't like them she would say why or there wouldn't even be a video. Lots of people are jealous because they don't get free stuff for making good videos. If you were getting free products, I'm sure you'd think about it differently.
Gorgeous girl....I must ask....how the heck do you get the liner off....I have it and when i shower it goes everywhere, i then attempt to wipy it off with a MAC wipe then on top of that I use gentle cream clinique eye makeup remover and still its there....i dont even need to apply the next say bc its still looming... ;( please give me any tips....its only this liner!
i have found the same thing.. basically what i do is just spend time with some makeup remover and a q-tip getting it all off. i wash my face in the shower, use clinique's clarifying lotion and moisturizer, and then go in with clinique's oil based make remover afterwards.
Have you guys tried oil? If you put some oil on a qtip that should do it. This also works for the MAC liquid liner that refuses to budge when trying to take it off. Hope this helps!

I just went to the store last night after watching your movie review. I bought it it "smokey quartz" which is a dark gray, and I'm getting black tomorrow. I put it on at 7:00 am this morning on my waterline, lower lash line, and upper lashline/lid, and when I got home, just a bit ago, it still is there! Mac's Powerpoint stays on in water pretty well, I wore it swimming once. But unfortunately it gives me raccoon eyes after about three hours, so I only use it when I know I'll have a chance to reapply.

hi Amy! I had a random question. You do a lot of tutorials on yourself (and you have a GORGEOUS face) but ever put any consideration into planning out tutorials or advice for other people's features, like people with close-set eyes, or asian features, etc. I myself happen to be really pale, and I have big deep-set eyes so wearing heavy eye makeup, especially on the lower lid is really, REALLY hard for me. It either is unnoticeable, or falls into my creases like whoa. ;;

Eyeliner is really a problem for me, cause I never seem to find a good one. They are usually too light, too 'weak' i guess... Is it just me? Most of them you have to eyeline like a thousand times to get that dark look you got there and sometimes they vanish a few hours later... thanx for uploading new videos! ^^

HONESTLY, I don't think I can do so accurately based on having used four or five products by Stila. Stila's eyeshadows were nice but if they're all frosts like the ones I have, I would be disappointed. It's important to have matte shadows in one's collection. The Kajal liner is FABULOUS, though. It is fluidline on a stick, like I said, which helps people who have trouble applying MAC's fluidline.
oh is that the origin of the word kohl!? wow. i will feel really stupid if that's how it's supposed to be pronounced. but i will look it up, it does sound interesting!
It is not advertised as water resistant and I haven't worn it all day to know, but this eyeliner is truly amazing stuff so far as I can tell and I highly recommend it!
actually, its pronounced with a j. like ( kah- jul) its an indian /middle eastern style of eyemakeup. i dont know about the middle east, but in india it is traditionally used to ward off the "evil eye". or so my mother tells me.

Just because she got those products for free doesn't mean she can't have an honest review. Plus, you can see how nice the products are for yourself by watching this video. Stila's eyeshadows were nice but if they're all frosts like the ones I have, I would be disappointed. It's important to have matte shadows in one's collection. The Kajal liner is FABULOUS, though. It is fluidline on a stick, like I said, which helps people who have trouble applying MAC's fluidline.
Stila products are more expensive than MAC's.
In the end, I will always be loyal to my MAC. :)

Yeah Kajal is a type of makeup in the middle east, it's pronounced a lot of ways. Most people pronounce is Kohl. Look it up, it's pretty interesting.

It is not advertised as water resistant and I haven't worn it all day to know, but this eyeliner is truly amazing stuff so far as I can tell and I highly recommend it!

actually, its pronounced with a j. like ( kah- jul) its an indian /middle eastern style of eyemakeup. i dont know about the middle east, but in india it is traditionally used to ward off the "evil eye". or so my mother tells me.
