I wonder if people are confusing the Pilgrims (Separatists) with the Puritans. From what I read the Pilgrims(Separatists) acknowleged that if it weren't for the Native Americans, they would have died. The conflict was between the Puritans and the Native Americans, from what I read.
Is this an actual commercial for this documentary? I'm really curious if this was actually aired because I'm writing a paper on film about early America (I'm not American myself, just fascinated by its history) What I'm really curious about is if people feel this documentary dispelled the common myths about thanksgiving (like this video seems to imply)
