Is Calvina Faye not sick of getting her ass kicked in the legalization argument? If current marijuana gangs turn to other crimes, then the police will have billions of dollars to track/arrest/prosecute. Billions are spent on marijuana prohibition, so use those resources to go after REAL crimes. Plus, not ALL pot dealers are involved in organized crime. If 30% just grow/sell, then if it's legal I doubt they'll start committing more heinous crimes. Maybe they'll grow shrooms instead!!! YAY!

I completely agree with you. I would call it cannabis at all times, but some people that are non-smoker are unfamiliar with it & only know it as marijuana.

It's just something we have to deal with because of how often the word was used in the 30' & 40's when cannabis was given a bad rep. The only thing I can do is educate people about cannabis & when I do so call it cannabis at all times.

The question was if we take the criminal enterprise out of supplying cannabis & allow American citizens to grow cannabis by strict codes, then the cartels would run out of money & the leverage to continue.
