Ok it worked fine when i played and recorded on 1080p and it worked when i put it in vegas, but now when i put in vegas with new settings, it just crashes. right when i put it in, it automatically says there is an error and it closes.

@ByFrazzy if you have updated your Total media extreme to the newest version it messes up your fps and changes your frames to 120 from a 60 when you record this happened to me and every time i recorded a video and put it in Sony Vegas it would crash because of the 120fps. What i did to resolve this was to delete (uninstall) the new driver software for the Total Media extreme and used the old drivers form the CD that came with the PVR this should solve your problem. JUST DON'T UPDATE THE DRIVERS

Do The Render Settings Differ If I Have The Gaming Edition?

@TehNakz The only difference between the normal and gaming edition is that there is a green light instead of a blue light, and it comes with the cables going from your xbox/ps3 to the Hauppage. That's it. So no, the render settings should not have to be different.

@ItsProven lol doesnt matter if u have the newer version lol. There pratically the same when it comes to settings. And u dont change it to 1280x729 @ 60 frames per second. You cant change it to that because theres no such thing lol. You heard wrong or seen wrong. You change it to 1280x720 @ 60 frames NOT 1280x729 @ 60 frames. lol.

1280x720 @ 60 frames is just setting it to 720p HD resolution. You can set it higher if u want, doesnt afffect the quality just takes longer to render in my opinion

@ItsProven doesnt matter if its mw3 or mw2 or any of the other cods. You dont change it on mw2 first off. You change ur ps3/Xbox to 720p. When u go to ArcSoft Software it should be 1280x720 @ 60 frames. If it isnt, then when u render it in Sony Vegas or ArcSoft, u can change it to 1280x720.

@colossalbiscuit You seem to be having the same problem as me, which I just fixed. Is the problem that when you import your file that it says Sony Vegas doesn't respond? If so, download the previous driver version from the Hauppauge website.

i got a problem with sony vegas pro 10,

i changed the render settings likke you did in the vid, but i dont get the right screen size.

it is now ( after the correct settings i believe) : Project ( good) 1280 x 720 x 32 ;59940 p

but, preview is 320 x 180 x 32 ; 59940 p and display is 390 x219 x 32
