  • cool!

  • supposedly these birds do this when left along frequently.they become nervous and neurotic. they are intelligent social animals and need activities, affection and company.i'm not saying that current owners are at fault but the previous ones.

  • why is he.. so... nacked?

  • Fun fact: when these birds head bang and do the stuff they do it means their excited and/or happy not upset, crazy, mad, or intimidated like some think.

  • He's picking at his feathers!! :o Yahh my birds do that too -.-

  • What a pretty baby! I have two rescue birds now. One is a quaker parrot and the other is a blue jay. They are both spoiled rotten!

  • J'espere qu'elle va mieux .. moi aussi elle j'ai sauver la mienne elle était entrain de faire du picking .. :( mais elle va bcp mieux maintenant :D

  • Thank you for rescuing this lovely and playful and ovbiously happy bird! I hope her feathers grow back! I heard pluckers are from neglected birds, it looks like this sweet baby will be bathed in attention from now on!

  • i want a bird that can talk.

  • I have several rescue birds also. One like yours is a feather plucker.

  • poor baby hopefully she grows her feathers again :( thank god for more people like you who care about rescuing our 4 legged and winged brothers and sisters.

  • was admittedly worried when I first saw the state of her feathers, but after learning that she's a rescue I commend you for your effort in rehabilitating her.

  • i think I laugh/cried over the sheer ridiculousness of lack of feathers on his tiny frame with a big boofy head and batman stance...how hilarious!

  • @misterday6 It obviously says not to leave negative messages. Don't be a douche. The bird is in a better place. Don't be a troll, no one likes trolls.

  • She looks so... happy, it's adorable!

  • i dont have a bird but i really want one they look very sweet

  • do you know how it lost its fethers?

  • did the feathers grow back?

  • I AM BAT COCKATOO!

    MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!

  • That's kind of scary.. I'm glad you rescued her and she's in a happier home

  • i feel sorry for that cockatoo

  • She has been plucking. Thats what happens when you neglect such smart birds. Toys, playtime, sun and exercise is a must for cockatoos. They need to stimulate their brains daily in order to be healthy.

  • zoommmmbieee bird!!

  • she is also molting ok ..:D

  • it so sad that people could treat these wonderful animals so badly... i'm so glad a good number of them get rescued, and sent to a good home like this. I have 2 wonderful cockatoos who I love and adore very much, such wonderful pets.

  • wow mit such an amazing thing that you have done. only god knows how loving you are for animals. It toched my heart when i found out what you did for this wonderfull bird. You are such an amazing person. :D

  • i remember my mom rescued a Blue and Gold Macaw from a tattoo parlor and the birds stomach was completely bare. we took her to the vet for a check up and they discovered tattoo ink under her wing. :( she was very hostile towards everyone except my mom. she had a rough life and im so glad we saved her. she was quite a character. :)

  • i hope she gets better soon!!!!

  • Poor sweetheart! I just rescued a U2 also. Have you tried Pluck No More for the picking? Kings Cage sells it.

  • What a cute girl, I have one too that was rescued and she only have her head feathers and I love her more than a lot of stupid thins that people think it is important. Congrats for your rescue she is adorable.

  • She's just gorgeous! Hope she'll get her "fur" back soon. i'm happy you took her in, no bird deserves ledd than a great home

If you wanna try get her stop picking her feathers you can change a lot of things just through her diet. a good seed-mix has been recommended for years and years but it has shown that pellets are the right way to go when it comes to nutrition and they get such a beautiful coat, i changed on my amazones and i've never regretted it. send a message if you got questions :)

  • Aww She's beautiful :)

  • Oh she is so sweet. I am so glad you rescued here..How was she rescued? What is her story?

  • My sister said "Ew, it looks ugly"

and I replied with, "No... it looks fortunate"

...I wish I wasn't allergic to big birds because they're always the ones that people don't want after a while.

  • omg i rescued the one as will and she is same just like that one i took her to the doctor and they said avix bird rain topical spray and also i rescued the African gray but he is bold from his head anyone can tell me whats wrong with him

  • Reminded me of Jeepers creepers

  • shes anorexic and she might die.

  • What a precious baby :)

  • i was given a blue crown conure...i can say that i was oblivious as to the responsibility and care a bird requires...that being said...i am blessed that she is in my life...i wish you and your winged creatures Grace & Peace.

  • God bless all the people who care for abandoned and abused animals

  • Aww so cute! Some people are so ignorant, she's obviously happy and well cared for otherwise she wouldn't be displaying :) So wonderful to rescue a bird and see it happy :)

  • dont worry bout negative comments cuz what ur doing is the best gift u can give that bird basically another chance to be happy which u have achieved..congrats god bless u im also thinkin of adoptin a goffin cockatoo which as well was a plucker due to stress she plucked most of her feather on her chest but hopefully wen she comes home to me she will be happy and content with me

  • What happened to her feathers??

  • That is teriffic. Glad to hear there are people like you. I used to raise birds and I have seen so many abused ones. God Bless You.

  • I think this is terrible. Plucked feathers indicate a disease. It can also mean neglect.

  • @heupiedupey Read the comment. It says it is a RESCUE BIRD. Meaning she is being taken care of now.

  • Aww, thanks allot for saving her, have a happy lifetime! ^_^

  • lol at 0:07

  • much respect !

    thanks for rescue !

  • wtf your bird is bored play whit he fuck you poor bird

  • @MrCentrax ...obviously you've never owned a bird to not know that this is perfectly normal behavior, especially for a cockatoo.

  • @OZoneGrl i have a cockatiel but mine never last something like

  • these birds pluck out their own feathers all the time, hes fine people !!!

  • he looks not healthy

  • Ninjapr00 why say somthing like that? Nothing better to do with your life?

  • I also have a cockatoo he loves the hairdryer and chasing peoples feet :) this one is very cute take no notice of the losers who say it's a horrible because it's not its georgeouse and they have nothing better to do than comment horribly! Xx

  • My cockatoo is a rescue bird too and looks pretty much like that. Her feathers got better since I have had her but she has plucked so much she damaged her follicles. She is still an awesome bird though.

  • hes pluckin that is due to stress :/

  • omg, first I though: OMFG WHAT HAVE HE DONE TO HIM!? but then I pause fast and read the destcription so I were like: oh phew o.o

  • My cockatoo is a nudist too. He seems to be happy that way so I just let him be.

    He thinks he's sexy

  • loss the fethers i mean

  • y do thay do this?

  • poor cokatoo it plucked its feathers :(

  • mine is the same with the feathers

  • Looks like an archeopteryx with a mohawk.

  • can't stand stupid people... a bird can be perfectly healthy and pluck their feathers for whatever reason... the only thing "wrong" here are uneducated people leaving rude and/or stupid comments when they know nothing about what they are talking about

  • Comment removed

  • @217cmiller um.... what healthy bird will you see pluck all of their feathers out? ask any vet. when they start plucking their feathers out more than normal, it means they are upset or stressed..

  • @gkangel1188 physical health and mental health are two different things... yes, the bird may have issues, and yes they may be caused by stress or a number of things... but this doesn't make them unhealthy .... the bird is a rescue... it takes time and training to get a bird over plucking... but it is obviously overall happy...

  • @217cmiller bird version of biting nails

  • @217cmiller This is just not right. Plucking out feathers is a behavioral disorder. And there is always a reason, very often its keeping the bird single although birds normally live in swarms. A bird never mutilates itself without a reason.

  • @tornupwings I agree totally that it isn't right and there is a behaviour/mental issue, what I'm saying is that just because a bird plucks and has a "behaviour issue" doesn't mean they are unhealthy physically... yes, it can be from being alone however even if there are no other birds with it any bird born in captivity will look to their humans as their flock,so they can get there attention/affection that way, it can also be from several things that can cause stress, also skin problems can=pluck

  • er sieht ein wenig gerupft aus,m hat der nen problem oa so??

    aber cool!! it`s great!

  • sooooo Cute <3

  • @iitzEVY

look like that?? its normally birds picks feathers. and she is rescued.

    "dont worry, be happy"

  • @Kathrine881 wouldn't say its "normal" but it is common for cockatoos to do, usually caused by stress, skin problems (dryness etc.) lonliness and other things.... but just because a bird is a plucker doesn't mean its sick physically.. they are still beautiful, intelligent creatures... I know what you meant though I think

  • @iitzEVY <<<---what a moron YOU are.... its nothing to do with "letting" it look like that.... some birds pluck their own feathers for different reasons, I'm sure she is perfectly healthy

  • @iitzEVY , seriously, look up some fact about birds, especially parrots, before you make ignorant comments. Nobody LET it look like that. Nobody can STOP it from looking like that. There is obviously something this bird was missing, because they pluck like crazy when they are lonely and depressed, this bird has more feathers than many I have seen. This one seems to be WELL on it's way to recovery. It looks like a very happy bird. It was probably ignored, and malnourished before.

  • pěkné strašidlo :-)

    (nice poltergeist)

  • The bird looked fake for a moment there lol.

  • I'm glad you rescued her, she looks much healthier and happier.

  • There's nothing wrong with her????? Damn girl did you realize that cockatoo DON"T look like that??? She needs help, i hope you are the right person to give it to her! Somehow I have doubts if you deny the undeniable! She' not ok.

  • aww poor baby :( seems like a sweetie tho. my cockatiel used to pick under her wings too :(

  • I can't say it is pretty but I'm glad it got a home where it is safe now. I hope the feather grow back out.

  • Your so AWESOME for wanting to Rescue her!

  • What a sweetheart and how lucky to now have a happy home. Bless you for rescuing this gorgeous bird.

  • LOOK! IS BATBIRD!

  • Does he/she have a wife or husband? If he hasn´t, that could be the reason for the lost of his feathers.

  • exactly what mine looks like, except it has orange on the feathers on his head.

  • POOOOORRRRR BIRD!!!!

  • looks like a BATMAN

  • poor bird....i should donate some of my rainbow lorikeet's tail feathers.....lol.

  • This is sad!!

  • aaw I WANT IT :D

  • Was she like this before u got her? My friends grandpa has one n he is really ill and the bird is neglected I want him to give it to me for 200 bux he wants 1200 for it and he is a nice bird but I dont have that much money when im there the bird sits n a dog cage locked wit a padded lock but the bird sits there and picks the meat off his chest n then u talk to him and he stops and pays attn to you?

  • Learn to read the film's description -.-

  • Please read the description first :)

  • She is so beautiful. My m2 was a rescue also and he was taken from a meth house so he is missing some of his feathers also. That just gives them more personality. So precious

  • why has she not got any feathers around her body?

  • Please read the description first :)

She is a rescued bird, probably came from a neglecting situation, in which most cockatoos clip their feathers and may mutilate or kill themselves. This cockatoo seems pretty healthy aside from the feathers, because she seems so active. I'm guessing that probably those yellow "feathers" on her wings are fake ones that help the bird feel more like a cockatoo after losing its feathers.

  • The yellow ones are natural. It's a sulfer crested cockatoo, and they have yellow under-feathers.

  • It's an umbrella cockatoo- sulfur crested cockatoos have smaller yellow crests (we have them here in the wild)

  • My friend has a sulfur crested cockatoo and the crest is quite large. I'm pretty sure this is a sulfur crested cockatoo. I used to work a lot with birds, cockatoos being rather common.

  • probs neglect and self mutilation?

  • after seeing this vid,I will DEFINITELY not neglect my rainbow lorri EVER oh and btw,he's cute

  • aww, she's cute! i feel bad what her last family did though. i hate it when people neglect their own pets! =O

  • AHHH PRESH!

  • wow she has been so neglected thats what happens when they are neglected they eat there feathers off there chests then they pick n prive at there meat

  • O WOW...i havea biggg comment to that

my mom works for a bird rescure and that does not mean that they did it and also she could have been abused we have a bird noelle and she was locked in a shrd for who knows how long look up hatched it the usa sydney alex and noelle r birds we rescused

  • she's cute, does she finaly have a new coat of feathers over her chest?

  • whats wrong with her ! Also shes cute

  • aw she is gawjus, i love these birds, they are so lovely, and for some reason sem so string tokeep goin, they somehow seem greatful for the love and attention they get, they deserve it , love her <3

  • Aw what a cute little nudist!

  • how sweet to see this birdy get it goin' on....time to celebrate!

  • i love people like you who rescue those from the people who dont care properly!! shes so cute..i want to kiss the little naked chicken belly :)

  • Me too! Me too!

    ;-)

  • why has she pulled out all her feathers????

  • For G's sake read the video description! This is getting rediculous! She is a rescue bird!

  • well yeah i know that but why did sahe pull her feathers out i man what is it that makes them do that is it stress? is it skin irritation what?

  • @rhino2960 parrots are very gentle birds and they are not domesticated, so they need proper care and communication. When something is missing from their invironment, they get depressed and pull their feathers out.

  • no joke but an emu cam out of no wear and was in this kind of state except it got bad i mean like bad wounds and stuff but he seemed to like me but ive always loved birds and animals in general

  • CUTE!!!!!

  • did he pluck his feathers? :S

  • i think he looks even cuter than other cockatoos

  • how is she now?

  • poor birdy

  • Hey! You should feed him pellots and charcol as the seed mix doesn't have enough vitimans and minerals for caged birds. Don't feed him human food. Make sure he doesn't get bored and has lots of mental stimulation. :)

  • What happened to the other part of IRS body
