Many people don't realize that GOD does not "send" anyone, anywhere. Well, the only way to go to heaven is to believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and that you accept his gift of eternal life, it's not a matter of doing it recently, if you've done it once, then you are going to heaven, as long as you don't lose faith in God, cause if you stop believing in Him, and turn your back on Him, then that's it. But no, if you die and you don't believe and accept His gift, then you can't ask for forgiveness afterward.

I remember when I first heard this song. I wasn't being a very good Christian, if I even had the right to call myself that. It wasn't anything too terrible, but I simply wasn't living my life for God. Anyways, after I heard this song I tried to stand from my computer chair, but my knees felt like dead weight and I felt myself fall too the ground. I just crouched there, hunched over myself and sobbing my eyes out. I prayed and prayed and begged to be forgiven. After that I sang praises. <3

We've all done a lot of bad things in our lives and none of us deserve to go to heaven, but Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins so that if we asked we would be saved. Finally I just decided to end such mental gymnastics in favor of rationality and consistency.

I feel quite satisfied as a Positivist-Agnostic. Particularly in the fact that I can view all of the universe through the same, consistent, empirical lens to the greatest degree humanly possible. There's far more satisfaction in that than believing blindly in some ancient scrolls or the notion of some bearded man in the sky judging my life after death.

@cristyraul I believe it is Saint Paul who says in Romans 5:2 "We rejoice in the HOPE of sharing the glory of God". If once saved always saved is true, why would Saint Paul say "hope"? Lest you forget that OSAS is a variation of justified by Faith alone, in which the only time the phrase "Justified by faith alone" occurs in the bible, the words "Not by" are right in front of it. (James 2:14 through James 2:26) Think I'm lying? Look it up in your very own KJV.

@cristyraul off if you're not too careful. You need to work for salvation; striving to do God's will daily without question and ever ready to listen for your next work. (See an entire passage on Faith and Works and how necessary they are for Salvation in James 2:14 through 2:26)
