@willbarlow1 Yes, it is real glass, just as the black is. There are several companies that offer conversion kits, and they work very well.

That's a nice easy install, but the only downside is that the front of the phone still remains black.

@SalvatoreDiFranco22 The front is actually available for purchase as well. With that being said, the price on it is a bit steep. Unlike the 3G/3Gs where you could buy the digitizer to replace the front, on the iPhone 4 the digitizer is stuck with the Retina Display meaning you would have to buy a new retina display with the digitizer in one piece. This usually costs' around $175-$200.

@AaRoNCcCs They do indeed. But unfortunately the actual front glass piece is stuck with the retina display. The 3G/3Gs ones were separate from the display. So that makes purchasing the front glass much more expensive. The home button is available for purchase as well. Be careful of fakes though, a lot of chinese fakes requiring you to GLUE the plate on. That's bad...LOL

@iDarkRed Sure can. Since it doesn't have a seal, Apple won't know that you replaced it. :)

@iDarkRed I actually bought mine off of eBay. I was lucky enough to find one fairly cheap. It was $15 USD I paid. You can find them a lot of places, just be careful. Make sure it has the frame on the back.
