@kanwulfNL thats where you're wrong...assassins go stealth and kill quickly like wow's rogue. ranger is like wows hunter but with no pet..the only difference is that rangers on here have different ways to keep the enemy at range.

A WoW player's perspective: WoW did use the basic ideas of other games. They did, however, created a unique world and storyline which evolved from Warcraft series to WoW. The lore is superb. They took the game mechanics of reg MMOs and combined it with a great storyline.

Oh and... you do know that Blizzard made the Diablo series right? That's why there are some Diablo reference in WoW.

Agreed with people who say this is'nt a copy of WoW. WoW used basic ideas from others games, so when saying Gladiator=Warrior, say Gladiator=Warrior=Brawler etc...

Every single game improves on its last, for the better or worse, but this one is better than its predessesor for sure. I played Guild Wars (GW) for a good 2 years, which considering the level cap was 20, that wasn't a short time. In GW they had 10 classes in total, and due to the 8 classes shown in this video, they are improving them

Graphics alone do not impress me with MMOs.

Things that impress me are character creation, UI customization, quest map, quest logging, simple gameplay and low lag. I'm also impressed by a good tutorial. Graphics are important, but last on my list. Will this game be easy for someone that has never played an MMO? I've played many. I personally believe wow only has one thing, popularity. LOTRO scored higher in my assessment than wow default. Wow's saving grace is addons to fix that shameful UI. lol

LOTRO gameplay is straight out of wow. but adds spell queuing, quest map, better default ui options (wow still wins with ALOT of addon help) and thankfully lotro has a larger quest log. Stuff we my never see in wow because you know we need more companion pets than UI and gameplay improvements.. (that was sarcasm btw) lol

To answer some questions, this game is only out in Korea and China. Second, I've played both WoW and Aion. Quitting WoW for Aion was probably the best thing I have ever done. Although, if you aren't up to a challenge, don't play Aion. It's probably one of the hardest games you will ever play. Expect getting your ass handed to you time and time again.

I have played Aion and its boring and not hard, its your regular NCsoft style game of constant grinding and getting nothing from it. Skills are no way unique both races have same skill tree only 1 skill area for every class. No plans either to make another at all in the near future so bascially any race is same as other. Also the quests are all the same for each race just a diffrent name and armor isnt as unique as its claimed to be.

Also, large-scale customization leads to builds, which renders many skills and items useless. And you probably only played noob island? If you played anywhere past area 2, you would know. Both races have the same skills so that the game is balanced, and therefore, both races are equal, and people don't choose one race over another. And since you probably didn't get past Ishalgen/Poeta, you obviously didn't see any gear. So stop smashing something you know nothing about.

I went up to the Abyss where you are forced into pvp at level 35 which I thought was annoying. I said earlier both races have same skill so why did you repeat everthing I wrote? Wow used to be great, then after rough patch 2.2/3 it turned to be really bad, the only thing left was the PvE content which they then nerfed to the most easymode shit ever. The only thing that kept players playing was the new expansion WotLK, and how great it seemed. Then it launched the first months was horrible as expected, then when it started to stabalize it slowly turned into the same stuff that happened in patch 2.2/3.

ie: you can't get gear in 2v2 arena, and 3v3 is RMP/cleave or gtfo
