I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this video... it is a real great job... !!!!!
A fantastic tribute to all those wonderful artists... !!!
Even the rhythm and movements of the artists suit perfectly to the music in big parts... must have been lots of work to put it together in this way... !!!
Aaah... not to forget... I am a big fan of Stevie Wonder... a great song too naturally :-)
just so people know who are wondering this is soul, jazz, pop and funk and has nothing to do with rap i dont know why all the comments befor this are about rappers just thougt i would make that clear
I find it unfortunate that stuffbilluploads has chosen this beautiful song to be used as a race card. I doubt Stevie Wonder would appreciate it. Stevie himself even listed Glenn Miller in the lyrics. I failed to see Glenn Miller in the video. I'm not going to "dislike" this video. I think that would childish. But I couldn't let such a blatant faux pas hide in the shadows. Music should bring us together... not tear us apart.
@ChesterLoadstone How does celebrating African-American musicians/legends from the 1940s to the present day tear anyone apart? I am "white" and I don't understand your comment or at least don't feel the same.
i feel that sad that you consider this as a race card, a beautiful song, black, white, asian, blonde, brunette, blonde. music demonstrates beauty regardless of skin colour x

Great video! Thanks! Love the message of Universal Language and Love this song carries. God Bless Stevie! And Basie, and Satchmo, and Sir Duke, and Ella, and....lol
@TheCaptbob1 Actually, that is not true. Most rappers do not carry guns and act like assholes, that is just a stereotype that people who are afraid to try new music make up. The rappers and rap groups they showed were Run-DMC, Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, Salt n' Peppa, Lauryn Hill, Tupac, and Biggie. Out of all of those, the only gangster rappers were Tupac and Biggie. Hip Hop is an important part of African American music and when you do a tribute to it you kind of have to have Hip Hop.
@crazyjames95 I thank you from the bottom of my heart for explaining to others that rap does belong and i'm not saying today's ignorant rappers like waka flocka and soulja boy, i'm talking about the rap pioneers and lets not forget Pac also was talking about coming together for peace not everything he said was fuck hoes and imma ride on these niggas other times it was more toned down like the song "do for love"
I remember hearing this song on a Juke Box at the pool in the summer of 77 I think. I was only 8 or 9 and I was just knocked out. Brilliant. PS it sounds much better on an old record any day.
This video proves why American (Soul) Music is the most admired and copied art forms on the planet-----also check James at 3:26--he's in the groove, unbeliveable! Miss him much.

@TheCaptbob1 No buddy's got dirt on Biggie Smalls... Im sorry, I don't mean to be a dick- But the man was one of the most skilled lyricists out there. Gangster, yes, but I don't necessarily think that it makes his music any less amazing- Just different flavors, don't limit you listening!
@TheCaptbob1 not all. some are trying to lift their brethen up. lots of (white) militia men carry guns and act like assholes, but we still need a well armed militia for defense. WHY do they carry guns? gee i wonder..rodney king, much?
@TheCaptbob1 Not all rap artists are bad. You're looking at pop culture. America's pop culture right now is glorifying those who make millions, carry guns, and act like assholes, you know, the hump and fight kind. wow the guys and girls back in the day b4 aretha, b4 stevie, b4 tina etc... b4 1960, 1950 ect... sure had talent, i do not see none of their talent at all. i mean look at the first 2 men, when do you ever see that now or in the 60's 70's 80's 90's not even now. if it were not for their talent our mega stars today would not be much respect to you guys and girls back then.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This document means everything..What else can we say after that ?...except u can view the journey of Music through the lyrics an' Stevie's music..Horns are fantastic here, aren't they ?..Another fantastic artist with a no less fantastic voice, MO'SEAN "Give you my soul" will take U as far as Stevie with his Major talent, A L.P. will be here soon..Don't miss it, i.y.please...Thanks YOU TUBE 4 those unbelievable nuggets, Thank you very very much...

Great video montage! I love the brassy sound of Sir Duke, a tribute to some of the famous artists that Stevie Wonder loved and wanted to pay homage to.
This video was created in the same spirit and I appreciate that!
I only feel bad that there were some artists in the video I didn't recognize, the one that is really bugging me is at 3:40. Is that Lionel Richie?
Regretfully, the smug hip&rap crowd are the ones that are least likely to view this great video and embrace Stevie's delightful message. This video is an automatic "pick me up", thank you!
Stevie is a genius. This is a great tribute to music itself and not getting stuck in one gernre, one style contributes to another. Those that need to hear this message most are the rap&hip hop audiences who have conformed to mediocrity. Reliance of the urban decay of the Enlish language is not music. It will never endure the way that Stevie Wonder's music has.

wow the guys and girls back in the day b4 aretha, b4 stevie, b4 tina etc... b4 1960, 1950 ect... sure had talent, i do not see none of their talent at all. i mean look at the first 2 men, when do you ever see that now or in the 60's 70's 80's 90's not even now. if it were not for their talent our mega stars today would not be much respect to you guys and girls back then.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Nice work though!
