Why White Queen didn't take pawn on d3 afrer Black blocked its defender with his Rook? There was no useful retreats of the Rook after Queen takes pawn.
saw this vid 3 times and finally noticed the white rook is taken with a discovered check which is a good reason to give up. probably I will give up faster my next game :] thanks to more experience.
you never play boring, which I do so often. the doubled pawn looks so awkward to me but wins, in a way. and your voice is top ! just neat over all
First he spends a huge amount of time solving his problems, finds a good move and blunders terribly on the next. I've seen that sequence a lot - I wonder if it is some kind of typical psychological phenomenon?
No i think it doesnt just win exchange, i think it also wins a whole rook because after king moves and knight takes, then queen is checking so after Kf4 then Ne2. Correct me if im wrong,
19 ...Rc4 was nice

@gologram No useful retreats, sure. But bringing the other rook to c3 would be crushing.

How about 20. Qxd3?
NotThat3 2 years ago
20.Qxd3 is bad because of 20...Rac8 winning material. But white missed 22.Qxd3 which almost equalize.

24 Qxd3 is also possible

16. rb8 i think is best move and from a continue variation you win as piece
16.Ne1 rb8 17. Rb1 rxb18. kxb1 qxd2 19. kxd2 Bxf2 winning a piece

It would be interesting to see if you could use these ideas in longer games

KC im wondering if rybka see's that fork or likes it for black?
sodayodadude1 2 years ago
it wins back the exchange and keeps blacks huge attack. Any engine will like it - but some may find stronger variations.
