  • I'm so glad i know enough about the guitar that i can actually learn from this. Unfortunately i don't have the patience to sit through all the unnecessary bullshit he likes to talk about nor can i stand his sing-teaching. All i needed to hear was A and C and i figured it out. For some reason it sounds better when i play it too.

  • @InKa4484 I'm sorry it was not easier to sit through. I'm glad it was of some help to you.

  • @warrenmusic I'm glad you took the time to address a troll like me......yo momma was some help to me.

  • @InKa4484 Yeah, she is a pretty generous lady.

  • nazis

  • Thanks for all your tutorials warren! Never thought I was going to play this one but now I do! Can't sing that high though but whatever I sing it an octave lower. Cheers!

  • @kucharek01 just barr instead of thumb hehe. Ita soumds same, I habe same prob :D

  • "Ohhh ho ho, This is an A flat" xD awesome

Thanks for the videos btw, best paranoid android tutorial ever

  • Huh.

Is there any way to make my thumb longer? Cuz those 'thumb chords' are freakin' killing me.

  • I think the best moment in the video is when he quickly calls you a nazi.

"And the chords are... C Major... C Major to B... to A flat to B flat... sorry -nazis-."

  • If you didn't learn with this tutorial, do your self a favor: KILL YOUR SELF!

  • thx!

  • 1:55 , a one and a two eeeeee :D

  • Started attempting to play this with very low hopes, but after a few weeks dedication, all I have left to master is the "rain down" segment.

    THANK YOU!

  • @Tommeh101101 Keep it up, man! You can do it.

  • fantastic mate - keep up the splendid work!! :-) love it

  • i love how 12,000 people gave up learning between part 1 and 2

  • @liam710 Hahaha, that may very well be the case. Some people lack commitment/patience. Either that or maybe the first one was just harder and required more re-watches.

  • Good Job!

  • You should be the only person allowed to do tutorials on Youtube.

  • @parrakm LOL thanks. But then who would do all those hilarious makeup tutorials?

  • great now i can play that song in the right way n_n

  • I was finding the way i played this part of the song was a bit flat. The explanaition of the strumming pattern really helped. Cheers man!

  • This is the best tutorial I've seen in a long time! Very informative. What other kind of music do you play?

  • this has so little views?!?!

    damn good tutorial

    lots of fun :D

  • hello, could you please explain in more detail the flick offs at the end of the kickin little piggie section, i cant work it out and its doin ma heed in, i wouldm really appreciate it xx

  • Not sure what part you are referring to. Good eye/ear on the cover video comment, though :)

  • good thats encouraging! i mean the bit at 3.49, i thought b4 i could see you were using your pinky but now i see you arent, thanks dude

  • Uhmm..... Maybe I missed it but after I finished watching the third part I looked back to try to find the "YOU DON'T REMEMBER YOU DON'T REMEMBER WHY DON'T YOU REMEMBER MY NAME?!" part... uhm.... how do you play that part?

  • This is the exact part you are looking for, my friend. Thom's whining/screaming that part over what I'm playing at 2:50.

  • @warrenmusic Really? So the part that plays the tune to the "....kicking squealing Gucci little piggy" is the same part that is played with the other lyrics? I thought I remembered there being more to it but maybe Jonny just makes it more elaborate and sound different with sparatic soloing or something.

  • Yep, same part.

  • Could you post the chords for the song I can't follow you in english x)

  • I saw him play this live once on TV (Glastonbury I think) and watching it in slow-mo I could see Thom play (you'll have to excuse the fact that I don't know what the chords are called, I hope I typed this right!)...

    x3556x - C something?

    4x656x - Ab something?

    6x876x - Bb

I'll try and find out what those chords are and post again. Thanks for the There There tutorial, btw, I couldn't figure out the tuning at all!

  • @Richardstone Those are similar chords... different voicings from what I'm using, but basically the same essence. I wouldn't be surprised if he threw it in just for a change, but those are not the chords he uses in the video I link to in the description. And the C something you mentioned is incomplete... it would have to be x3555x and then move to the x3556x for it to have the same melodic movement as all the recordings I've heard.

  • awesome, i learned this by ear and was close but you cleared it up. Always love your tutorials. Original stuff is also very cool

  • @Skatterwave Thanks for listening to Phonofield! We're grateful.

  • ...and you're gonna end on an F CHORD! Haha your face there is hilarious. My fingers hurt but I'm soldiering onto part 3. Thanks for the lesson!

  • I think that the last chord is C major played upside, maybe I'm wrong...

  • @radiohm3 It's definitely F if you're taking about the final chord before the slow-down.

  • you're right its F, thanks for answering anyway :)

  • Awesome, again!

  • you're not just a fantastic teacher, you're also very funny in this one, you made me laugh more than once !! or maybe a good teacher ought to be fun ?

anyway, thank you so much for this lesson that helped me a lot, mister warren lain !
