where did bob lean about all his medicine? all the chumash teaching where lost? what was the name of the holy man that taught him? who was his teacher?
Who said all the teachings of the Chumash people were lost? Whoever said that obviously didn't do proper research. The expert on Chumash people are Chumash people themselves, no one else. Our memories and our teachings are alive today unbroken as they were pre-contact.
