Yes I agree that it's a bit absurd putting it up among the trees like that. Wind turbines need wind. I hope this is just temporary.
When you test out the tower its a good thing to keep the blades on the ground because they usually end up breaking if it falls.

looks good guys but your still not above the trees. How well does it work. I have the same problem. I had to go to 42 feet hope I don't need to go 60 feet

As I posted on the info section I deliberately tested the winch brake. I had tested it with just the tower. I needed to know it worked under a controlled condition.
