Hey Original. I've always wondered how you guys always get such clear roads to tear up. I'd kill for the roads and lack of traffic you can play around with. Just total longboard freedom. Do you guys speak to the local authorities and get roads clear for a certain amount of time? Whatever, it's just awesome. Totally jealous of you guys :)

@mrisaaclongboard trucks really depend on personal preference and how you like your trucks to feel. As for gloves, we have a video called how to make your own slide gloves you should check out!

@mrisaaclongboard Buy work or garden gloves at home depot. then buy a plastic cutting board. you can jigsaw pucks out of the cutting board and hot glue them to your gloves :)

@LadyAwsome1 at your height and weight the Freeride 38 would be best for you. The 41 requires a wider stance which may be a bit hard to maneuver for you, or it may just feel uncomfortable.

@thrasher1298 Hey! We were filming for the 40 when Brad got hurt out in Cali! We're definitely coming out with a video and hopefully it will be soon. As for the costume contest, result were pushed back a bit because of the release of all our new boards, but we will have that video soon as well.

@Originalskateboards I plan on using like I used my current deck: For cruising and occasional racing, However I'm really interested in riding like in your barcelona videos.

Would the Apex 40 be a good choice?

@Jezzie93 The Barcelona videos are the Freerides with rocker, but the Apex 40 would handle that type of riding really well, probably even better. It's much stronger than the Freerides since it has a carbon reinforcement bar and it will not snap while doing harder tricks. If you get the double concave you'll really be able to lock your feet into your slides when freeriding.
