@savageblue25 Nope its his 10th actually. They did a few shows in Germany, England and a few in the Fillmore, San Francisco beforehand. Actually Rob's first live performance with them was the day after they shot the St.Anger video in San Quentin. They shot the video first in the prison and then played a 10 song setlist for the inmates the next day. Pretty cool first gig eh? lol

It's just so weird for them. They could perform a lot better but it's obvious they're kinda anxious, nervous, not concentrated. James' voice breaks all the time and he misses a few times and Lars loses it quite a few times too. Compared to the concerts they play now, in 2011, and last year I guess, or the ones they played back in the 80s/90s this seems like a completely different band.

I went to a concert of theirs earlier this year, though, and they got every single song right and Hetfield's vocals were bordering perfection (for his capacity, at least). I can only surmise they were unstable/nervous in this video given the emotional turmoil they went through recording St. Anger and how long they stayed away from the stage.
