Yeah, it works just like that in Live, but what about when I want to use it as a generic midi controller? If I change template on the SL, it just jumps back to the Live template (32)... So, for customized DJ/performance sets in Live, do I have to remove the SL from my "named control surfaces" every time I load one up?
I never got automap software to work properly in Ableton. I've tried and tried. Never worked the way it was supposed to. I have the remote sl 37. It's still a killer controller. Automap universal 2 sux though.
@sonnybrown me too. even what automap actually does is still a mystery to me. hahaha. tried to read the docs and watch vids but i think i will understand only after i use it several times.
