pony gets a little hard-on and has a moment here of over-dramatizing and waxing nostalgic. i can already sense jeff getting annoyed with pony romanticizing about the corner and life and the road. and it is all culminating to the scene in part 7 where they are all listening to pony sing his song and jeff just can't take it anymore and jumps up and yells "FUCK!!!" hilarious!!
did Eric Bogosian direct this? When I read the play I didn't picture Pony being THAT unlikable, I mean yes he was somewhat changed by the entertainment industry but this guy is like a caricature of a pretentious jackass. And what is up with his jacket? lmao
I think Tim is too likable in this and Pony is too unlikable.

Same guy who made Slacker, Dazed and Confused, Waking Life, Before Sunrise/Sunset, etc. Sorry to see that you don't like it compared to the play, but I think it is excellent and that he did a great job. Of course, I don't judge screenplays solely on the original though... Anyway...
and when people say the ending is suposed to be left up to the viewers inturpition thats bollocks it called running out of funds to complete the movie someone sent this to me as a good punk movie i am no longer friends with that person
