Prior to the battle of Fallujah Marines went in to recover the bodies of the slain Americans. Once this mission was accomplished the Marines left. The insergents thought they had beaten the USMC in battle. They had not.
The insergents would soon face the Marines for real. The civilians had been evacuated and 4500 heavily armed insergents had their chance to face the USMC.

I completly respect the USMC but why do they get all the attention? Why not our Special Forces, US Army Rangers, The Paratroopers or the SAS? All of those are more elite, and better motivated than the Marines. I come from a family of paratroopers and my dad was in the 82nd (HOAHH!) And my grandpa on my moms side fought in the french indo-china war. Im pretty unhappy about how little attention the following fighting men i named off get.
