Guita Hero is the best for challenges. RB is too damn easy on guitar and bass, and the RB peripherals are really really low quality,. Made of cheap shiny plastic and bend like a SOB. The guitar hero WT guitar controller is much more better, it has more weight ot it and its thicker. It feels more like a guitar and less of a glorified Coke bottle. Granted, the GH guitar controller has strum glitches (but if you can solder it can be fixed easily). But the RB guitar controller was fucking awful

What it really boils down to is luck. Don't get any special edition right when it comes out because there's bound to be issues with it. Give it serveral weeks for the company to release more sturdy peripherals, and even then it'll still be luck whether they come out of the box well or broken.

Lets get a few things straigt ... Rock Band always stays true to the actual guitar notes, where as Guitar Hero has always added whatever insterment they feel like on the guitar ... The Fire And The Flames ... RB2 has a much better setlist than GHWT, and also with all the DLC that RB has now, theres no contest which game has the better setlist. I'm more for setlists and realisitc graphics than the GH cartoonish look and setlist that has absolutly horrid songs, but really great ones too. my opinon

Both games have a cartoonish look to them. Guitar hero started off as a cool, underground game that didn't take itself seriously. The setlists of GH1 and 2 were all covers, and the bonus songs were from unheard bands, and I love unsigned music. Anyway, the developers felt that the cartoony graphics would be make the game more fun to play and watch than trying to have seriously realistic graphics.

For 1, most intelligent people buy RB2 since the RB1 setlist can be transfered.

For 2, The WT drums aren't automatically compatible. Harmonix has to make a patch so that the drums from WT will work.

For 3, The RB1 drums I got a year and a half ago still work while the WT drums' cymbals failed after a few weeks.

For 4, The only people who really give a shit use the Ion drumest.

GH4 is only harder on vocals, because GH4's vocals are fucked up as hell.

All the other instruments are harder on RB2, mainly due to GH4's hit window being so damn huge.

I've played Hot For Teacher on guitar and drums.

Drums are easy, it's a steady beat on the bass drum with a few double hits. As for guitar, I always strum my fingers on a table or couch. I just have to do that, only faster. It's not really that hard, to be honest. However, I still can't beat Train Kept Rollin' on RB1.
