-i took off the componet cables from my old tv and put it in the converter in order then took my hdmi cable out of my monitor and pluged it in the converter changed the setting and it looks like shit! the graphic suck ass HELP!

HEY anyone who has info would be greatly appreciated. I have the same setup, asus monitor, xbox360 slim, and hd pvr. I am using THE EXACT same converter in this video. My capturing software shows my xbox360 picture, but I am getting a blue screen on my monitor. PLEASE HELP

@EhKaffy into the HD PVR , you have HDMI to the converter box then the component coming from the converter to the HD PVR and then from the out on the PVR to the xbox

I have a dell xps laptop with hdmi. I want to connect my laptop to a CRT monitor (VGA).

I'm using a converter on my PS3, it's just that the colour seems a bit more fuzzy if you know what I mean... Not totally sure what I done wrong but if I play on HDMI it looks fine, component on the other hand isn't quite right

@omgPLRH Ah good to know I'm not the only one :) I'm not using an xbox, but a ps3 instead, my set up is the HDMI coming from the TV into the converter box then the component cables from the ps3 into the converter box, not sure if you have a similar set up? If anyone's got a fix to this then help would be appreciated :D

Please answer this question, I recently bought a hd pvr (hauppauge) and because of that I have to use component cables instead of hdmi cables, but my ps3 only gives a black screen when i try to change it, i have tried everything: auto detect and that stuff, so my question is, is it possible to use a hdmi to component converter so i dont have this problem? that i have hdmi-converter-component-tv(wi­th the hauppauge in the middle ofc but u know what i mean)?

1. For some reason my room is naturally dusty

2. I am playing in COMPONENT and getting 720p gameplay which is COMPONENT

3. You dont play in HDMI it allows me to play "on" my HDMI tv USING HDMI.

4. Any monitor will work as long as you want to play and steam/record on a HDMI only monitor.
