Nice DBZ guitar. Its like a goth version of the Dean ML guitar. Tell me if I got the right info but do you HAVE to drop tune any guitar strings to get lets say drop c or d? Tons of people are saying you have to but I talked with samash a few weeks ago an they said you didn't have to tune any strings at all.
@jedimastergarcia87 yes if you want a drop tuning to where your low e string is a step down from the rest you do actualy have to drop down the low e....so say you wanna do drop b all you have to do is drop the low e one step down and then just use the pedal from there to take it down the rest of the way which can be a pain but it still saves a ton of time and work
yo guy how well is the guitar balanced and how comfortable is it . its one of my want to buy items but cant decide because i cant play one and not sure if i want to jump in and commit
@TrashMojo Well balance and comfort is all kinda just prefence but I find it really comfortable.Its really light and just the way it's contoured it's really amazing.But again thats just me.
@RandomGuitarist96 It's a DBZ bird of prey...the guy who started dean guitars makes these now....they're amazing...and yeah this pedals definitly worth gettin...no idea how many hours it saves haha
@MrTshoff Yeah that's not a bad idea. Check back in a day or two and i'll try to get one up. But i've had no problems with it whatsoever. It's really light compared to others and the tone and sustain are great. Great pickups.And i was even suprised how well it stays in tune with the floyd rose because every guitar i've had with a trem falls out of tune really badly but i've had this guitar six months and have still not had to retune it. I'd defintly recomend one.
@MrTshoff but just to let you know if you want a color pattern other than the flat black they tack on an extra hundred. also the u.s versions are about double and i really feel that there's little to no difference.
@madog1989756 okay thanks for the info man! Ive really been lookin into these but theyre not in any shops around here so i cnt try one firsthand... How thick is the neck tho? like gibson type or ibanez type?
@MrTshoff haven't really played many gibsons but it's close to an ibanez but it's a little thicker but i think it's contour makes it easier to play....what i mean is i think the ibanez is a little flat and not as comfortable while the DBZ is still really thin it's v'd which i like better it's all just preference though
@madog1989756 Yea i think thatd be the best feel between the two honestly bc ive always thought the same about ibanez necks. They really just cramp my hand up
@MrTshoff Yeha i had an ibanez RG and had that problem too. Not with the bird of prey though.If you've ever played a dean(mainly a razorback) They're a pretty close comparison but the bird's basicly a way nicer version.

And yea i have like recording programs on my cpu so the camera would only serve the purpose of letting everyone visually see me play but yea ill keep you updated
@MrTshoff What kind of programs do you use. Also what do you have to use to hook up...like do you have to hook the guitar through the computer with a usb or something i'm kinda slow on that kinda stuff.
@madog1989756 I have this free program called audacity thats pretty good to be free and uhm i have this cord that plugs into your amp at one end and the other is a usb which you use to plug into your computer and plug your guitar into the amp and everything you play audacity will record and once you have your guitar track you can put i backing track over it or use the actual song and just turn the volume on your guitar parts up and then yor done and as far as videos i have sony vegas

@MrTshoff and also i was wondering how you hook the cable through your amp...Does it go through the effects loop or something..and sorry for all the questions again kinda slow to the recording process. I've always just screwed around and never looked into any of this until now.
@madog1989756 the one i use plugs into the headphone or line out of the amp. Its not too complicated once you get it all figured out in your head and its no problem i dont mind answering.
@MrTshoff One other thing i was wondering before i buy vegas can you just import sound from audacity and line it up or do you have to change file types or anything stupid or is it pretty simple?

When you use this pedal have any delay/latency between the original pitch (pedal off) and lower pitch (pedal on)? Like a Whammy for example.

@MrTshoff haven't really played many gibsons but it's close to an ibanez but it's a little thicker but i think it's contour makes it easier to play....what i mean is i think the ibanez is a little flat and not as comfortable while the DBZ is still really thin it's v'd which i like better it's all just preference though
