industrial music was not dance music
rather it was the deconstruction of conventional music
a challenge to the conventional
nowadays you say industrial and people think
nine inch nails or skinny puppy
and they are both excellent and totally cool
but they'd tell you that SPK was one of the innovators, the pioneers
it all ties together
I wish more bands dared to be this bold today

I used to drive my mum nut's when I used to play my SPK albums when I lived at home (Dad thought all my stuff was shit). She said it was the only thing she didn't miss after I'd left. Sweet.

Yes sir, in my opinion the Masters of industrial. Back when I was a wee punk shopping for vinyl, I saw this LP with a transparent babies head on the cover(rare). intrigued, I brought the LP. 'Leichenschrei', darn, every time I listen to 'despair', my mum would come running into my room to see what the screaming was about. I fell in love.
Lucky for me I brought I.O.U and Auto-da-fe on vinyl before CDs were invented now they are worth heaps, could sell 'Leichenschrei' for £200 but I won't ever
