  • nice stuff , love the gordon!

  • Don't give up your "day job".....

    just kidding.....

    like your guitar.....

  • Ooops, I already did! This is the famous S&G guitar, before it became S&G. Take a look at my channel to see what I mean.

  • WOW, you've got real talent. What a wonderful gift. Hope to hear you again.

  • wow very good

  • love YOUR version!

    cheers from chicago

  • you have a beautiful voice mister!

  • Nice sound! :)

  • I really enjoyed your singing and guitar playing. Keep up the good work.

  • mark easley, this is my favourite version of this song. i prefer more than gordon's elvis or paul weller. you got a great voice and i truly appreciate your guitar lessons. especially those of my all time favourite artist.. paul simon..cheers from england mark

  • Cheers back at y'all from North Carolina.

  • thanks for taking the time mark, and sharing your lessons and voice

  • Love this song. First heard it sung by two Irish musicians. If you ever get a chance to hear their version then it's worth it. It's on a cd called "Ragairne" by Seamus Begley & Jim Murray.

  • Wow. Thank you for posting a video as a response to my video. Your a very good singer!

    Thanks again,

  • Okay, I understand this gentleman is away on tour and so can't reply but I just wanted to add: That little smirk at the end of each song is just KILLER. That's just 'icing on the cake.' Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh....

  • Nicely done. You sing and play well.

  • Bravo! BTW what is your vocal range? High Tenor? ANd Gsus what? G sus 4th or 2nd??

    thanks. :) I'm a beginner guitarist.

  • I really like your version of this! My dad sings this, with the same slower tempo; I think it takes on a somewhat different 'mood', as a result. Great job on this ;)

  • Your dad and you have good taste in music!

  • Thanks ;) Thanks also for the nice comments you left on my vid. this morning ;)

  • I think you did a pretty good job. I like the campfire feel of your version. Keep it up!

  • Well done, I love Gordon Lightfoot. And thanks for mentioning the chords. That helps a bunch.

  • really cool as good as paul weller does it ,,

  • My vwet favorite. Good guitar and singing, great ! ~"AngeLoner"~

  • nice man, nice, but i like the elvis chords, instead of the gordon original.

  • not like lightfoot does it, but it was pretty good

  • It's ok. I much prefer the elvis version.

  • That was awesome. I'd like to know what chords your using, I can make out most of them but not all.

  • G.Gsus,D,Am,C

  • Brilliant, I love all your guitar playing. Can you play 'If you could read my mind'

i would love to learn that

  • I can. I will try to do a lesson soon.

  • You are good enough that you should buy a good condenser mic and record in a bigger room with some rugs to dampen the sound a bit. By the way just saw a cello soloist a couple weeks ago that had a similar technique with pushing the glasses back up between phrases :-)

  • Very, very nice job on this classic

  • Well done! Thanks :)

  • nice job. i like your voice.
