    My during the entire song.

  • It's funny to see Elton John at 1:26 grooving to the Bee Gees music.

Not that they don't deserve it, it's just that you don't think of Elton just sitting around listening to other people's music.

  • I always sing this song in karaoke nights here at Honduras. I know the lyrics backwards, somehow You gotta press your balls hard to reach this type of notes!! Fuckin high notes. I LOVE THIS SONG even thoygh Im a rap n hip hop lover!

I like how a fan of Avenged Sevenfold is saying this.

You will never learn real music. Now go back to your metalcore.

  • @Icyxos Whats that supposed to mean? I'm a fan of Avenged Sevenfold, Phil collins, Pantera, The police, Nirvana, Disturbed, The beegees, Queen, Kiss, Led zeppelin, Pink floyd, and much more. No need to get all prejudice about it.

  • This is top choice in my book!

  • inmortales

  • 29 ppl didnt like this stayed and died

  • How could any one not like this Song..

  • One of the most easily recognisable songs ever I'd say. Love it or hate it, everybody knows this song!

  • In Norway we use this song to teach us the correct rate to give cardiac compressions in cardiac arrest.

    :-))

  • @bloomingthoughts Yea the Red Cross in Canada uses the same thing for CPR compressions... apparently it's 100 bpm.

Believe it or not, the Bee Gees knew that this song would literally save lives, and they named it appropriately. :P

  • 1:45 - Dennis Hopper grooving in his seat to the Bee Gees. Coolest shit I've seen in a while on youtube.

  • Hah, Dennis Hopper is feeling that shit down to the bone. He's fighting it...he's trying to control himself, but that funky cadence is taking over like a rhythmic seizure and the timeless classic takes over the building

  • my life evolved around your music! Thanks - i learned how to dance and sing and boy did i get laid!! LOL

  • solo recuerdo que estaba muy joven y para mi era era un descanso escucharlos ,

  • @GuldTrimProductions then 5 more joined them

  • @GuldTrimProductions LOL 33 PPL DIED

  • This is real talent. When someone sounds the same on stage as they do on their album then you know that they are a true artist.

  • @savagesanity Especially when it's 20 years after the original recording.

  • great song. You can help but feel good...

  • 26 justin gaybers infected this video.

  • classic music that will never be forgotten, R.I.P Maurice.....

  • muito bom

  • absolute classic...

  • Sounded great when they wer'e together, but it sure didn't when R. Gibb sand this by himself?

  • i love bee gees!

  • Barry was singing live to the original backing track. They also did this during the Stayin' Alive portion of the 1997 Hall of Fame Induction medley.

  • as far as Iam aware this song was written originally in the key of Fminor and the studio version sometimes is run at the speed of F#minor and there was a live version done in the key Gminor so there will be a difference in the voice OBVIOUSLY this live version it looks as though Barry is playing at Fminor and I think over the years Barry may have changed his falsetto style slightly too...it's a bit strange seeing Barry in Robin's spot must be a better mike

  • Surely Barry's voice is NOT the same I hear in the original album. It sounds like another singer. Some artists keep the same voice both in live concerts and in CDs/DVDs (for example, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Madonna...), but Barry doesn't. (GILBERTO SAUGEN FROM BRAZIL). That's it.

  • @gsaugen This was in 1996, about 20 years after the song was recorded. Surely you can understand that a person's voice may change a little as they get older, especially if they sing a falsetto. It is funny you give Elton John as an example to support your argument, because his voice today sounds NOTHING like it did in the '70s. Find some recent clips of him singing one of his early hits and you'll see. People's voices change as they grow older.

  • Or just that no-one sounds exactly the same each time they sing live... @Dreamline78

  • @gsaugen That it comes close and actually brings out the song after twenty years is remarkable. Wayne Newton doesn't have shit on these guys.

  • who's the lady in the cowboy hat at 2:51?

    Tori Amos?

  • Barry's voice is NOT the same we hear in the original album, it's a little bit different. Why are songs sung in live shows different from the ones sung in recording studios?

  • Uh, because they're live and not recorded?!? WTF kind of question is that? Live performances SHOULD be different from studio recordings. Otherwise WTF is the point of a live performance?

  • @gsaugen Uh, because they're live and not recorded?!? WTF kind of question is that? Live performances SHOULD be different from studio recordings. Otherwise WTF is the point of a live performance?

  • Very god...

  • Oh that's awesome! They really proved it on this one.

  • of course she doesnt know it....she is ghetto!!

  • When are the bee gee's going to make a come back? Does anyone know???? Someone Help me out with this one? They are incredible performers, song writers, and the vocals are awesome.

  • Lol @ 2:09

  • This song has stood the test of time. Maybe thanks MJ...

    The real classic !

  • Maurice Gibb isnt stayin alive :/

  • @p4cm4n182 That's Fucked up,but kinda funny

  • no that is naima or something like that she is a top model or was a top model

  • They just get better w/age! I saw Jill Goodacre & Harry Connick Jr (New Orleans)! Barry & Robin sound better with age in my lowly opinion! Each one of them has the talent to stand on their own, they've written more #1 singles than anyone in the history of US music, breaking Lennon/McCartney's record! Long live the Bee Gees! RIP Mo

  • you'd think after all those years, you'd think that Falsetto would kinda wear out...Or that Barry's balls would finally drop! =P

  • fueron los mejores

  • incomparavel

  • tha hora

  • this is the song the kids in my class sing cleaning the tables and all of the kids were claping

  • 24 people are going to hell.

  • there lip-syncing it

  • @lennon2009 your out of your mind .... i dont think the BeeGees ever lipsynced anything .....

  • @lennon2009 hahaha you fail....that doesnt even sound good but thats what you expect from there age and there type of vocals.....i think your just Jealous and have no clue....go back to school.

  • legends brau, tumeke

  • Harry Connick Jr looks pissed at 2:32. 'When the fuck can I go have sex with my dad!?' That's what he's thinking, because you must be a faggot not to like this song.

  • I am from India....and I heard this song when I was ten..thanks to my dad...and I absolutely love this song....what a great band....great singers, timeless music...absolute genius.....mad love from India!!!!!!

  • even a green day fanboy like me loves this song

  • They're so damn good...

  • This song is a fucking classic!!! anybody who doesn't like it can go to hell!!!

  • @venturafor2012

    I agree!

  • @venturafor2012 hell yeah

  • @venturafor2012 THIS IS A MUTHA F****** CLASSIC! YOUR TOTALLY RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!

But whoa, whoa, whoa! Why do you judge the opinions? I have gotten a hell-sent threat more than twice! Don't do that. O.K.?

  • I love there swagger!

  • Vocals are tremendous. Goes with out saying. But Maurice Gibb (who wrote this bass line) as a bass player is this sex. That bass line is fucking devastating for a pop a song, lol

  • So how many of you are strong enough to admit you know the words? Or how many of us remember how they played up the lights at Round Lake Roller Rink?

  • Watched the whole video with a wide smile on my face!!!

  • 22 people have never heard of the age ...

  • Yes)))

  • R.I.P Maurice Gibb and Dennis Hopper

  • awesome!

  • Gr8 band & group. Evergreen song, lyrics & playing d guitar.

  • EPIC SONG!!! Seriously does not need to be updated with those pop stars some people are saying, it would really ruin the whole vibe and meaning...

  • It never gets old...bee gees ALL THE WAY!!!!!!

  • all the song is awsome

  • I agree that it could be popular if it were updated but I agree w verifyguy. Just leave it as it is. The Bee Gees brought disco back in the late 70's when it was kind of old news. Now i just want it to keep that disco feel.

  • Elton John at 1:27 lol

  • Amazing! the best band of the modern era, great live to! go brothers Gibb!

  • My first real concert at 14. Way cool. Timeless if you ask me.

  • this sounds like they lip synced for part of it. if not, then that was AWESOME!

  • He really has this pitchy voice but I lurve it. That makes him unique :))

  • <3 BEEGEES <3

  • Im Only 13 Years but i know old song from Frank Sintra Years To Bee Gees Years

  • how many member of them are left

  • @sgtdikwaud 2 of them BARRY & ROBIN. this year the BEE GEES are coming out w/ a 50th anniversary CD box set. enjoy.

  • @sgtdikwaud They were always three.

  • OMG this looks and sounds so decadent! But I bet it were catchy when my mom went dancing. Maybe Lady Gaga or Miley could release a remix or a version to make it acceptable again!

  • @lotwyo Please god no...let the classics stay classic.

  • @lotwyo You're kidding right. If Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus did a remake of this, they would capture my love for music by crumpling it up, throwing it in a dumpster and piss on it, then they would take it out of that dumpster, rape it, abort it, cook it in a stew and feed it back to me. That's how horrible that would be.

  • @themillenia The music is good, but I just think Miley Cyrus or Lady Gaga could give it a better, more modern feeling and sounding. It could stop being the music our parents like to be the music todays teenagers like. It has potential, but need to be updated and framed with some electronic beats and louder guitars and a more dramatic and flowered singing.

  • @lotwyo Are you serious again. NO, not that futuristic sounding autotune nonsense and other annoying sounds. It would destroy the essense of the song completely. Its sounds better the way it is. The song wouldn't be truly appreciated if the song is altered like that. I'm sorry but no way. It's obvious that we have different tastes, completely.

  • @themillenia the fact is you suck my penis, and i like this song :D okay?

  • @lotwyo No this is a classic song and should stay the way it is. it will always be a disco song and if anyone tried to change it they would be killing one of the few things disco has left.
