Omg I didn't know this was even nigel till today! I've worked with him at school and he let us go to his house and record at his studio and his dogs are soooo cute. I'm seeing him Wednesday at a concert he's organised for us! An amazing guy!!!
Saw Dodgy at the Wilts show (july 2009) absolutely stunning!! Brought back so many memories, Was lucky enough to speak to Nigel Clark after the gig, spot on bloke, all the very best with your solo projects mate, you deserve to be on top! Oh-er missus
I cant believe they have reformed, I was 1 of the first fans from the Demo on Gary Crowley in late 1990 onwards, saw them at Dodgy club in Kingston in 1991 and massive fan ever since. Have signed 1st album and all singles. Never thought they would do it! Oh yeah course they would, its money isnt it! If they are able to sell there soul for rubbish holiday adverts then reforming is the least they can do!! Thanks guys!
they dont make alot of money from adverts and most bands do it, they'd be daft not to. they've all been busy doing other things and playing with other bands and yeah you're right, its great that they're together again and touring this summer. you went to the dodgy club! lol thats a blast from the past lol. i was DJ for them there once, easy gig to get cos Andys my brother lol obviously makes me a fan from the start out of family loyalty but i can honestly say ive not seen a bad gig! crackin band
This band kicks Oasis' collective asses! American record companies never release great music like this in the US. I, too, was introduced to Dodgy about 1996. They are very on par with classic British bands like the Who, Beatles, and Kinks, while creating a sound of their own. I LOVE this band and think that the US needs to get its head out of Britney's cleavage as far as music goes.
Yes, they still have it. IT. The, thankfully, immeasurable atmosphere between certain people, that can kick things, imagination, songs, cameradarie, originality off to somewhere else. And on and on. Thank you.
I discovered Dodgy about 10 years ago here in the USA. A friend from the UK tipped me off about them and picked up the "Ace A's" import. Great stuff! It's a damn shame A&M never released their music here.

It's a shame Nigel ever left Dodgy.
I like his new album, but the songs he wrote in his dodgy day's are somewhat more youthful and pure.
Big brown moon is probably my favorite :)

dodgy are amongst my fave bands ever, and they are much more important (in the schemes of british pop music and culture) than they even think.
looking at this video was very emotional for me. simply magic.
I saw them live two times here in milano, so I hope the 3rd is near!
cheers the cap
(original traslator of the old dodgy website's welcome message..hahaha..remember matt?)
