  • Very cool man.

  • A bar with a house band that could play all these covers would be a sweet place to hang out.

  • @slightlyslippy I'm working on that! But not exact replica's. Gotta be yourself too when you play!

  • Is that a gretsch?

  • TRhe 7th is NOT there on the C.

  • @bgumbyguitar +1.

  • why u didnt played solo by your self? >_<

  • I love the dominant 7 with raised 9...i call it the "spy chord."

  • PT: Let me expose myself by asking, is this the same song that Stevie Ray Vaughan does in a bluesier format? Thanks again great job as always!

  • @1cleandude Indeed it is. And please stop exposing yourself -- this is a family channel! :)

  • @privettricker hahah your funy

  • This is brilliantly played but I am pretty sure that the C chord is actually a C7. No offense,,,

  • @Capillus I debated that for a few minutes. But then I decided I can't hear the 7th note in there. That's not to say you're wrong, though. I've been standing/sitting next to loud amplifiers for a long time and I'm sure my hearing has suffered accordingly.

  • @privettricker Ahh, I understand! I also play by ear and I totally see what you mean. But the 7th note is in there, I can actually hear it. The Beatles had this habit of using dominant 7th chords all over and in places nobody would imagine! Oh, and the solo to Taxman is played by Paul McCartney, surprisingly. He nailed it!!!

  • @Capillus minor technicality. As long as it sounds good.

  • great rythmn dude

  • What is the chord at 0:21?

  • @MrStrawberryBeatles That's D7#9 and then immediately back to to D7.

  • @privettricker Don't you use that same cord in If I Fell (the bridge).

  • @1cleandude No, there's no D7#9 in If I Fell. There is a D7, though (just a C7 shape moved up two frets and both E strings muted).

  • Well known fact that Paul did the solo on Taxman, as well as the solo on Good Morning Good Morning from Pepper.... He played a lot of guitar in the latter years.

  • @bettsaj Paul also played lead on Another Girl. I'd swear it's Paul on The Night Before, too.

  • @privettricker actually thats both george and john

  • no its george

  • @privettricker no john and george did the solo on the night before

  • @privettricker You're right, Paul and George played lead on The Night Before

  • That thing at the end was honestly one of the funniest things i've seen in a long time...

  • 2:32 wtf!?

  • Thank You very much to show us this incredible rythm part of George, and for those who wants the solo just go check it in other place of the tube, there are loads and loads of it everywhere but not of this rythm part.

  • Great playing and great tone from your rig.

  • @lookylooky2006

Troll or automated response to a video containing the word "tax" ?

  • @lptomtom Troll. And he won't be back again. So let's get back to music.

  • Nice job! Paul's solo too tough, eh? Or you just didn't want to learn it all the way through? ;^P

  • @daregularperson I just like the rhythm part.

  • @daregularperson Paul's solo????!!! Are you fuckin' kidding me!!! Thats George!!

  • @foolproofpilot Hey, there's no need for the vulgarity here. Besides, you should probably check your facts before you start screaming. Paul is the bassist, but he can also play a mean guitar, as cited here.

  • @daregularperson I know Paul could and still can play guitar. In fact he can also play Piano. Also, it iratates me when I see a Beatles book at the store, and next to all the pictures they have to tell me their names.

  • @daregularperson Paul was originally the lead guitarist till Stu Sutcliffe left the band in Germany before they were signed. Then he moved to bass simply because they needed a bassist.

  • @foolproofpilot I know Paul could and still can play the guitar! In fact he can also play Piano.

  • @foolproofpilot No, that's Paul playing the solo on Taxman.

  • @privettricker Prove it.

  • @foolproofpilot In "Many Years from Now" -- Paul's own authorized biography -- Paul explains how he played the solo on his Epiphone and even did an Indian raga run during the solo to please George. In the "Beatles Abbey Road Sessions" there's a Paul interview where he says the same thing. There are at least 100 other Paul interviews where he confirms that he played this solo. Don't dig your hole deeper on this, trust me.

  • @privettricker whats funny is paul couldn't even read sheet music

  • @schumickthegreat That was John who couldn't, Paul played piano in his house when he was younger, and eventually taught John.

  • @Beatles64JL in an interview about golden slumbers paul said he couldn't even read sheet music he could only do a few chords

  • @schumickthegreat Well there was another interview where Paul said Golden Slumbers was already a song he used to play on piano and READ THE SHEET MUSIC, He said The Beatles just added the tune to it, if i find it ill send it to you.

  • @foolproofpilot No it's paul on his left handed Fender Esquire. Same guitar he uded on Good Morning Good Morning and Sgt. Pepper and the Reprise.
