@jeffeastwood15 - Whelks are a type of shellfish that sort of resemble snails and are traditionally sold at seaside resorts here in Britain along with cockles (another sort of shellfish, more like clams) fish and chips, and other seafoods. :)

@Artemis57 They're referring to the ice-cream... in Australia, it's called a 'Cornetto'. And you can put a flake (crumbly chocolate stick) in them as a garnish.
