@MrTheMurphinator Its really a matter of preference. If you run co2 it sortof acts like an expansion chamber for your gun, there is no benefit for gas. Most "hardcore" players dont like it because it can snag and like to use the tank as a butt stock on high end guns. You can however buy a stock for the tippmann it just costs more money.

@MrTheMurphinator Dont listen to this other kid... hardcore players do nothing but remote lines on the woodsball side of things. I have been to every single Living Legends game at CPX Sports. I've played with TechPB, Psycho Clown Posse, and Blue's Crew. co2 sucks horrible. Its dirty, the regs are inconsistant, and will freeze in below 32 degree temperatures. I recommend compressed air. Coils are cheap and well worth it, some even have sleeves so you dont get snagged on things.

I have the original style 98 custom. My biggest problem is aiming it.  I'm getting that sight rail to help... so i don't have to take off my mask to snipe. I have a crossbow red dot sight on mine with the yardage set 20 30 and 40.

@volcomx14 no, i had one for 1 day and hated it. Very rough on paint, and not accurate. They DO give you range, but wat good is that if the balls fly every which way. I am not a fan of the Flatline. The best thing you can do is get a Python insert kit and a nice Lapco barrel

i use a tippmann.. its sweet.. for woodsball. unless you wanna madd mod. but your going to probly lose 200$ for speed ball mods.. ide just go with an invert mini to be quite honest, 300$, crazy fast, and super small. Look it up

1. I prefer Tippmann barrels personally, that is one of my attacked frequently opinions tho.

2. 8 in. Lapco Bigshot w/ surpressor shroud

3. Rifled barrels dont work with a flat object, sry. ppl think it does but it doesnt, it is against laws of physics.

4. Idk bout cheap paint, i only shoot Marbalizers and DXS Bronze Silver or Gold. I dont run cheap shit thro my gun... :P

i can answer 3 of them 1, 3 and 4 ok i think tippmann barrels r way better and rifled barrel sometimes make a deference depending on the paint but all and all they r better. for good cheap paintballs i would say white box plus they hurt more

Tippmann barrels are better yes, but rifling in pb barrels makes 0 difference no matter the kind of paint. Rifling is designed to give a projectile spin, it can d that if it can grab the projectile, and that is impossible with paintballs. Then paint... i use white box for target practice and thats it. White box paint is very crappy. The balls are irregularly shaped, they dont break when u hit someone, and if they "hurt more" its easy to tell they are bad.

ok well for people with no money like me white box is good...ish for the money plus they break for me. You can buy special paintballs that have ringed groves in them witch help.

Psh, 98custom is just as good as a-5. Yeh, tha-5 has cyclone feeder, but you can put it on 98c as well. 98c is a great woodsball gun, and wih a couple seed upgrades (like the cycloneif you want) it can be a kick-butt speedball gun too.
